Extremely important that the directions are followed 100%. There are no shortcuts.
The directions were extremely easy to follow. Once I got started, the product was easy to apply. I used to first 1/2 of the product for the initial cover. The next day I applied the second portion as a second coat. Very happy with Damtite and plan on purchasing 3 more buckets to do entire basement. Used it on the basement wall where I am adding a bathroom.

Cistern leaked after application
So I called the manufacturer - go a run-around. Spoke to 3 different people and got three different stories - finally got to the actual owner and he emailed me with a laundry list of issues - mostly the idea was it was my fault and scolding me for not EXACTLY following the directions... Well, Im not an idiot and I'm not 10 years old - I've done hundreds of DIY projects and if this man is correct the chance of getting it right wityh his product seems pretty poor - not to mention that the main reason i got this because per their website it was supposed to go over old cistern plaster - turns out that application is NOT warranted. So now I have to drain the cistern and start over - I'm not saying its impossible that I did something less than perfect but I'm sure I'll look for another sealer.
