I absolutely love the JBL Clip 4 Portable Bluetooth 5.1 Speaker — it’s been a game-changer for music on the go! Despite its small size, the sound this little speaker delivers is seriously impressive. The audio is clear and balanced, with rich mids and surprisingly strong bass that fills up outdoor spaces better than I expected. The design is super practical. It’s lightweight and rugged, and the integrated clip makes it easy to attach to a backpack, bike, or belt loop — no extra straps or accessories needed. Whether I’m hiking, chilling at the beach, or just walking around town, the Clip 4 stays secure and keeps the good vibes going. Bluetooth 5.1 keeps the connection stable and responsive, so music doesn’t drop or lag when my phone is nearby. Battery life has been excellent too — I can play music for hours without having to recharge, and that’s a huge plus for long outings. Surprisingly good sound from such a small transducer. I like the portability. The description says "5.1"? That's just incorrect terminology. Packaging is rock solid. Almost difficult to get into, but I'm sure that's an anti-theft tactic. Overall, I'm very pleased with the Clip4. All of my JBL products are top shelf!

This little mighty speaker is my go to in the summer and fall! It has the most full and amazing sound, my husband always asks if I'm using my Bose outdoors. Easy to connect with bluetooth and when you use the clip, the sound is more amazing when suspended! This is my second one. My son loves it so much, he asked for this speaker for Father's day.

"Mighty Little Speaker for the Outdoors!" I’ve been using the JBL Clip 4 for a month now, and I have to say—it’s way louder and clearer than I expected for something this small. The sound is crisp, vocals are clean, and it’s perfect for casual listening, especially outdoors. I’ve taken it hiking, clipped it to my backpack, and even used it in the shower thanks to its waterproof design. It’s survived rain and dust without a problem. Battery life is also great—I consistently get over 20 hours at moderate volume, which is more than the 10 hours advertised. Bluetooth connection is fast and stable, and the controls are simple to use. My only complaints: bass isn’t super strong (but that’s fair for the size), and the carabiner clip, while convenient, feels like it could eventually wear out with heavy use. Also wish it had a mic or previous-track button. Still, this is an awesome little speaker that punches way above its weight. Perfect for people who want portability without sacrificing too much sound quality. ✔️ Would definitely recommend for hiking, beach days, or just hands-free music around the house.

I found out about JBL speakers from some roommates when I lived in Oakland, California. They had this large, portable device about the size of a small handheld drum. It BLASTED their tunes! Excellent sound quality! They’d take it with them as they’d walk around or play it as they worked. I asked them what kind of speaker it is (because it sounded so good and could get so loud for such a small speaker) and they said it was a JBL. I decided to try one out - but on a smaller scale. I looked and found this clip version. Perfect for clipping onto your backpack as you ride bike and for playing tunes- wherever you are and around the house. So clever!!! And such great sound for such a little thing! I got a call that my Grandmother had fallen and broken a hip in Minnesota, so I flew down there to help out as she healed up. At the time, I tried out your clip 3. It was the latest that was out. Magnificent! I’d take my 92 year old Grandmother out for walks in her wheelchair (as she healed up) and I’d let her pick out what music she wanted to jam to on the walk and she’d get so excited! I’d clip the clip 3 on my backpack as we walked along and she would sing along to the music she picked out and wave to all the neighbors as we went by. It was so much fun!!!! We Have your company to thank for that! (Thank you!) She healed up and is feeling good now. 😊😊😊 I’d also bring the clip outside when I’d visit my Pup, Cats and pet chickens (who are family members) and I’d play music for the little ones in the yard as I did chores around the place. They loved it too! So did I! My pet Chickens really love Punk Rock Music and Mantras from India. ♥️♥️♥️ Low and behold, the clip 4 came out. This time I got it in pink (the clip 3 was a beauuutiful teal color). Love it!!! It’s a tad bit smaller than the clip 3 and boy does it pack a punch!!! You can really blast the tunes with that little thing!!! Even more so than the 3- which is amazing! Reminds me a bit of those petite singers that are five foot two and little and then they go on stage and belt it out and they blow you away with the volume and range of their singing. The JBL clips has a VOICE! I tell ya! I suggest JBL speakers of ALL KINDS to anyone looking for a great speaker. The protective cases you can get on the side for under ten dollars are very recommended. It’s a hard shell and it really protects your speakers when not in use. I’m saving up for one of those drum sized JBL speakers that you can carry with you. If you have a car and by chance your speakers don’t work- these will do the trick too! Just multiple uses. Such excellent speakers across the board no matter what style. Thank you for making them in pretty colors like pink and teal and red too! Recommended to all! These little speakers have brought so much joy to me and my family - human family and fur and feather family. It was really healing for my Grandma to go on walks with these speakers. She got really sad and depressed during the healing process. Sometimes she would cry because… it just sucks to not feel good. After I got that clip speaker and she she could pick out music for her walks, she was smiling ear to ear and waving at everyone as we went by and singing along to songs. She looked forward to the walk every day and still mentions them. I should bust out the clip 4 and take her on some more walks when I visit Minnesota again and when it’s not 30 below zero! Wow! I expected so much less from this little speaker! The bass is amazing and the sound is so clear and the volume is way more than expected. I bought this for Flyfishing in the streams, but I realize I will have to keep to volume down as not to scare the fish away! The size is perfect; the carabiner clip is extremely useful, and it’s light! Fills the whole condo with crisp yet full sound! Reminds me of my much bigger Bose speaker from 15years ago!

I wasn’t expecting such powerful sound from such a compact speaker, but the JBL Clip 4 absolutely delivers! This little beast is loud, clear, and has great bass for its size. Pros: ✅ Surprisingly Good Sound – Crisp highs, clear mids, and a decent bass punch for a small speaker. ✅ Ultra Portable – The built-in carabiner makes it easy to clip onto a backpack, bike, or even a belt loop. ✅ Rugged & Waterproof – Feels super sturdy and handles splashes like a champ. Perfect for outdoor adventures. ✅ Battery Life – Lasts a solid 10 hours on a full charge, which is more than enough for a day out. Cons: ❌ No AUX Input – Would be nice to have a 3.5mm jack for wired connections, but Bluetooth works flawlessly. Final Thoughts: If you need a compact, durable, and powerful speaker for travel, hikes, or just chilling at home, this is a no-brainer. JBL nailed it with the Clip 4, and I’d definitely buy it again!

Love this little thing. Never afraid to take it anywhere, super compact and fits in (or on) pretty much any bag you might carry. If you can't find anything for it to hang from with the robust handle, you can place it down and get excellent results. Can get very loud, but for my typical usage I barely go above halfway. I don't think you can go wrong with getting it, especially for the price. If you're umming and ahring about getting a portable speaker, then take a punt on this. At the very least you can always upgrade if desired. Battery life is good, I don't have any quantifiable hourly data, but it charges quick. I've maybe had it die on me once.
