I have waited to review these until I could go through multiple wear/wash cycles. Having done so, I remain very pleased with the product. They hold their shape, nap and strength. I have just ordered a third set. I am not a hiker and never purchased them for that purpose. I use them as everyday/dress socks. They are thick, warm and breathable but not husky mountain-climbing socks, though they could probably be used for that purpose. Prior to buying them I had been wearing B____s socks, which have not held up as well as these. These are my new go-to choice. They look great, feel great, work great and endure. Highly recommended.

The fit and comfort is great and they hold up super well.I wash them regularly and put them in the dryer and they have still held up to 2.5 years of hard use. Just buying a second set now :)Couldn't ask for a better fit or something more comfortable!

I love these socks. The only thing and it's minor, they pull WAY up your calves in order to fully up. So far these are wearing great, I would buy again.

I had to update the review because I notice the soles are wearing out around 9 months...they are worth buying every 9 months, but I would pay a little more for a more double heel or something(I don't run them through the wash every use but find they stay comfortable and odor free for multiple uses)also, I would wear nothing else, but they only come in long knee-socks. very long.

Breathe easily. Durable. Recommend. I wear them with Thourogood boots. No noticable foot odor after 8 hours.

I've only worn these a couple of times...but they feel great.Weight is about the same as "normal" cotton crew socks - thicker than "normal" dress socks, certainly not thick enough that I'd call them winter socks. Perfect for what I was looking for - Merino wool socks for every day wear (with hoking boots for an outdoor job). They are just a touch higher on the calf that I expected/prefer, but not bad. Only time will tell how well they wear, but for now, I'm happy with these.

I have purchased two sets of these socks in the past 3 years, the most recent set are so delicate in the heel. I have had more than half of them rip in the past months.I think the quality has changed for the worse, I would avoid these socks and spend a little more for something stronger.

I found these to be equal in quality and appearance to the Bombas with less of the branding flashyness that bombas brand displays. Just a plain black merino wool sock. Much better price. If you are looking for wool socks that are nice but cheaper than bombas. look no further. Will be buying more of these.
