It works
It works, but it feels cheap. Make sure you're not tilting it when using it. Find a sturdy place to put the l shaped steel so that it doesn't move and so that you can have an accurate reading.

Spend your money on a higher quality tool.
Really bad quality, tool spins in places it shouldn’t and the knob to tighten the arm is stripped on delivery.

Cheap alternative to an angle torque wrench
This adapter didn’t work out of the box. The o-ring didn’t have enough friction so the whole thing spun around. I had to add a rubber band to the o-ring to keep it from spinning so it doesn’t give me a false reading. It’s also a bit tricky to get the torque reading to start at zero once initial tension is applied.
