Needed as my original seat split!This one is sturdy enough and took all of 5 minutes to fit. There is only one downside - no rubber under the seat so it makes a hell of a noise if you drop it down by accident!

This seat was simplicity itself to fit, and as the fittings are not made of metal there is nothing to corrode or rust. I do agree with other reviewers' comments that the product is a bit flimsy, but I'm not finding that to be a problem.
