Chatillon Spinner Trolley Garment Bag, Black, One Size

I don't know if I've ever regretted a purchase more. I purchased it for my husband, who regularly travels for work with 1 or 2 suits (for which he happily uses an Eagle Creek garment folder inside a regular suitcase) but occasionally he needs 3 suits plus a bunch of dress shirts. It does a fine job of holding the hanging suits and shirts, but a horrible job of everything else. There isn't enough room for regular clothes like jeans, t-shirts, pajamas, unless you hang them too, which makes no sense. At minimum my husband needs a pair of formal shoes for the suits and sneakers for the gym (one of which he'd wear on the plane), but the bag doesn't have anywhere to put even a single pair of shoes. He can't fit his toiletries inside without ditching the Dopp kit and sticking each item into the outside pocket loose, except for larger items like saline which just don't fit anywhere unless you stick them loose in the main compartment and let them wrinkle the suits. Worst of all, the snaps on the outside are totally impossible to close (even using the loops properly), and if you don't snap them they are in danger of getting caught on the airport baggage machines. Bottom line, even if you're willing to struggle with the miserable snaps, this suitcase is only useful if you are bringing a second suitcase for shoes, toiletries, and regular clothes -- my husband only ever travels with a single suitcase, and this can't be that one. He literally only used it once and swore never again, and now it will sit under the bed collecting dust forever. Every time I look under the bed I get angry at the money I wasted. >:(

I bought this garment bag for my first cruise. This is a great piece of luggage! I like to pack things on hangers and to pack everything I need for a week or so in one bag (shirts, skirts, jeans, necessaries ;-}, couple pair of shoes, toiletries). My last suitcase fit this bill, but had a softer structure and no wheels. The wheels on this bag go in any direction you turn them, so it was a piece of cake to maneuver through LAX. Also, for its size, this bag is quite lightweight (as opposed to my old one, anyway). I really like the bright blue color, as well, since it makes it a cinch to spot on the baggage carousel. It's definitely NOT a carry-on.

This case represents excellent value for money. I have just completed a long 14 day business trip to the Far East with it, transiting in seven airports. The case has emerged unscathed from this gruelling experience and is so easy to manoevre in crowded conditions. It is very roomy and it took all my required clothes and personal items in comfort. I highly recommend it..

Terrific bag for a terrific price! If a BIG garment bag is what you are looking for, than look no further. I shopped online and in local retailers searching for a decent garment bag that didn't break the bank and finally decided on this Delsey. I own several Briggs and Riley bags, which are exceptional quality, but I didn't want to spend that much on a garment bag that would only be used on occasion. I can't attest to how this bag would stand up to frequent business travel (though most business travelers would likely choose a more expensive, durable, compact option) but it has held up without incident on several trips I've taken. It is definitely too big to carry on for those of you wondering. It holds a ton of stuff and would be perfect for cruise fanatics or those traveling to a destination wedding and needing to keep formal wear protected and intact. I was able to pack 2 suits, 3 dress shirts, 2 formal dresses and a very thick wool and fur dress coat with room to spare. The interior corner zipper pocket was perfect for packing a mini steamer which I ended up not even needing. I had no issues with the handle and the wheels roll nicely and keep the bag firmly upright. It is surprisingly light weight for such a large, durable and well constructed bag. As a previous reviewer mentioned, there are these exterior flap snaps that were virtually impossible to snap until I realized that there are actually finger loops under the snaps that solve that issue. Very pleased with this bag and highly recommend. Certainly can't beat the price.

Overall, this is a very nice product. Although, it will require many more "miles" before I can truly promote it's construction and reliability. However, the design is nice, with ample room for a week's worth of clothes, for both business and pleasure. The only major design flaw I've noted thus far is with the flaps at the top that protect the zippered areas. These are not the easiest to secure in place with the snaps provided. However, one or both of them have been disconnected and are flapping each time my luggage comes off the belt.Million-Miler Travel Tip: While you might say... "Wow, that is blue is BRIGHT!"... That's the point. I can't tell you how many times I watch people (including friends) grab the wrong Black Bag off the belt, only to realize it's not theirs. Stand out in the crowd and, more importantly, know exactly which bag is yours with ease... by choosing this bright and bold color.Final Note: My first bag was delivered with a malfunctioning zipper. The Amazon return/exchange process was amazingly simple and super-fast. The replacement was here in one day. Simply Outstanding Customer Service!
