Ikea Applaro Drop-leaf Folding Wood Table Brown Seats 2 - 4

My first purchase came in a completely mangled box, dropped on my porch. It was not broken, just the two fixed legs were missing! Amazon arranged for a pick-up. I purchased another, which arrived today, the Box had been reinforced with foam and rigid hardboard corners. Inside was a pristine box with all parts. Assembled in 20 minutes and it looks great, just as pictured. I gave it 4 stars because they really missed an opportunity to make the extensions longer. There could have been two more slats per side making a really great dining table and it would not take up any more room when folded up!

This was fairly easy to install. The directions were touch and go but pretty self explanatory. I think you would still save money if you buy directly from IKEA but they are out of stock often. I really wanted an expandable table because I like the minimalist look and I use this daily. It has been raining a lot and it has been holding up well. Definitely recommend.

I originally bought this for my greenhouse gazebo. I found a used set with four matching chairs on my local online marketplace. When I brought it inside my home I discovered that it fit perfectly on a small landing off the kitchen area. I ordered another table off of Amazon for this purpose; I use two chairs in the gazebo and two chairs inside but of course the handy folding chairs can easily be moved as needed. I never had anything in the landing area because it is so narrow; this just folds right up while easily seating four when fully opened. Great for tiny homes, eat-in kitchens, landings; really, any place that could use a table but doesn't have enough room for a full-time commitment.UPDATE: Still love the table and I would love it more IF THE HARDWARE WAS ACTUALLY INCLUDED TO PUT IT TOGETHER! I bought it as a return, but come on, Amazon, a little quality control on your part would be a great thing. I don't even know where to start because my return window is closed but at the very least, send me some parts please.

Was looking for the old model as was pictured on Amazon, but they sent the updated model. I can live with it, but it was not what I was looking for. I would have gone directly to IKEA if I wanted it.

I didn’t want the newer version because I ou can’t put your legs under it when you sit. I’m returning it.

Easy to assemble. Nice quality wood piece of furniture for a small outdoor space. I love the fact that it folds up for different configurations. It’s a little cramped for a chair around the gate leg but that can be worked around. Cute table —love it.

We like the table but when the same table was available at IKEA, it was 1/2 the price.

Love this unit. It's great for our super tiny kitchen. It's a decent size but folds down when not in use.
