I love this design
This is my everyday carry. It's my second Exsklibur. I love this design. The opening action quickly became my favorite. This isn't a heavy duty utility knife, but it's sturdy. The wood can handle keys, and other jagged objects in my pocket without chipping or scratching.

It's a lightweight knife with a beautiful design with massive QC issues
It's a lightweight knife with a beautiful design with massive QC issues. My attempt at maintenance left me with a bunch of stripped screws and a basically unusable knife. Pretty sure super glue was used during it's assembly, pretty gross.

The action of the knife.
The price is a little high at around 130$. I would say that it feels like it is worth less because how thin the titanium liners are. Lock up is solid no blade play in any direction. Damascus steel is real. The action on this knife is probably the best part. It is almost frictionless for closing the knife. I would give it a 7.8 out of 10 for action. It feels incredibly light in hand. The weight makes it feel cheaper than what the materials cost. Over all great front flipping gentleman's pocket knife 🔪. Would buy it again for $130.

Looks great. But, it's not a good EDC.
I wish I could rate it as a 3.5. It's too good to be a 3 star but it doesn't deserve a 4 rating. This is an elegant knife. It's a great showpiece. However, if you want a practical gentleman's knife that you can actually use there are some "issues" you should be aware of.- There is no thumb stud or flipper. This rules out one hand opening and closing.- The liner lock is very difficult to disengage. They really needed to make a large enough cutout so your thumb can push the bar back. As it is, I need to use one of my finger tips to fit into the space in order to release the locking mechanism.Aside from the opening and closing flaws this is a very nice knive. It's lightweight and it feels and looks great. The blade is sharp and the wood handle scales are classy. In my opinion it's a good collection piece but not really a working knife.

Interesting Design Hampered by Poor Materials
Excellent design hides a massive blade despite a relatively small overall size. Thin bladestock is useful for slicing. Unfortunately the knife felt cheap and light despite the premium materials. Damascus blade was of unknown steel variety and seemed to be quite soft as well as unevenly ground. Handle scales felt cheap and scratched easily. Single titanium liner felt unnecessarily soft, thin, and flimsy for its job. Front flipper was positive and snappy but the jimping tore up my thumb. The blade arrived completely off center but came with a tool to adjust the pivot. Upon adjustment the blade was off center again within a day and the included T6 torx wrench stripped out the absurdly soft pivot screw during adjustment rendering the blade permanently off center and scraping one of the handle scales- all within 3 days of receiving the knife. Despite the excellent design the entire knife felt cheap and flimsy. Absolutely not manufactured for any real use. I returned the knife 5 days after receiving it and I will not be purchasing any Chinese made Böker Plus knives again.
