3DS XL / DSi XL Leather Case holds up 3x Game Cartridge

This case is very elegant and good looking. The quality is impressive, especially for the price. It protects my game rather well, and as a bonus it looks like the sort of grown-up thing I can take around to university and jobs, so I can have Kirby and Mario close by without feeling I'll be seen as childish.The exterior is black leather, with elastic material on the lateral. The interior is a plush material I don't fear will scratch anything. It has three elastic pockets to put games in and snaps closed with magnetic buttons.The buttons part was what worried me the most. Something with a zipper seemed more secure. However, these are very good buttons. They snap closed without difficulty and I get the feeling that even if they didn't snap together, the magnets would keep the case closed in my bag. I haven't had to test this yet, though.I protect my game system with Hori's clear duraflexi protector (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GX330XW/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_43), and it still fits perfectly inside the case. It would strain just a little if I tried to carry games in it as well, though. Not enough to be a problem of any sort, but I haven't tested it. I have a small case I carry games with, also by Hori (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BLGWIRK/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_26).All in all, this is a great everyday case to protect your 3DS XL and carry it around, and I'd have no compunctions using it as a travel case or to store my game system.

I really like this case, pretty much everything about it. The only downside (and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5) is that the case only holds 3 games, so with a game in the 3DS you have space for 4 games total. It would have been cool if they had designed it with two rows of 4 (8 games) by making the magnetic flap a little differently. Other than that minor downside I love it.The leather feels really nice (real or fake, it feels nice and soft). The 3DS XL fits perfectly, is easy to put in and remove, and most importantly... without any stupid zippers! I so much prefer the magnetic cover flap design, it works perfectly and makes it so much easier and faster to take the console out and put back in quickly. Also, the case looks really nice and isn't too big or bulky, so I like taking it places with me, and it doesn't make it obvious that it contains a $200 game console (no bright colors or Nintendo logos)

The media could not be loaded. I've had this case for a few years and I'm happy to say the New 3DS XL fits perfectly! The leather quality is top notch and the magnets are still holding strong.To those wondering, I've had my Triforce 3DS XL in this case since I bought it and the magnets never caused an issue with anything. I know that's a big concern with this case but there's really nothing to worry about.So if you're looking for this type of case, I say look no further! Yeah, it's a bit bulky but it easily fits in a jacket pocket or the side pocket of cargo pants (what I usually wear). It also fits in a pocket on a pair of my jeans but your milage may vary on that one. I love it because it's classy looking and it protects my system. So again, if you're looking for a case you can just slide your New 3DS in and out of when you want to play it, or if you just want to cruise around picking up streetpasses like I do, then go with this case. You won't regret it.

On October 1, 2010, I purchased this case to go with my DSi XL. I paid $9.99, and the item was sold directly by Amazon. It was sophisticated, attractive, functional, and substantial—offering an aesthetic of luxury and an assurance of security.On July 13, 2016, I purchased the case again for my New 3DS XL. I paid $12.79, and the item was again sold directly by Amazon. However, this time the case I have received is a pale imitation of the product I previously loved.It seems like a cheap knock-off. The leather material is thin and does not hold up to the touch, making the whole case less solid. If I hold it in my hand (while containing my 3DS), it is easily squeezed. The edge stitching is now black instead of white, removing the handsome highlights of the original design. There is also an ugly imprint of CTA's company logo in the center of the case's top, which previously had been clean. See my photos for a comparison; in all of them, the new case is on the left and the old on the right.While it's bad enough that the case is a shadow of its former self, the worst part is that you can't even know this until you open its packaging. That's right; not only does the image on the Amazon product page show the old case, but even the company's packaging has a clear image of it. It's advertising a different product than it contains.Realistically, the new case is probably a 3-star item, but I have docked it an additional star for the deception. I will be returning it, and hopefully I can find the old one by purchasing from a different seller. If you are able to confidently acquire the original while avoiding this cheap redesign, I highly recommend it. It transformed my bronze DSi XL into a luxury item that I took pride and pleasure in carrying around. I had even been a little excited to see what the red 3DS XL would look like inside it. Seeing that case disappearing and being reduced to such mediocrity is what stings the most about this. If you can't be sure of which version you are buying, I advise you to steer clear.

Pedí el estuche y me llegó en menos de un día a pesar de haber elegido la entrega que tardaba de 3 a 6 días, excelente por ello. El producto me encantó, se ve muy elegante y protege perfecto a mi 3DS XL; cabe mencionar que NO es para uso rudo. Sí cuida la consola para un uso diario si queremos llevarla en nuestra mochila o bolsa, ya que el estuche es acolchonado, pero si por alguna razón tuviera una caída extremadamente fea, no creo que saldría bien librada. Aún así, me parece una excelente compra.

Since the 3DSXL and the DSiXL are approximately the same size I bought this, great fit! My DS feels protected and the item itself is made out of good material. The case has slots for three games plus the game that'll be in the DS itself bringing it up to a 4 game total which isn't horrible but at the same time it would have been nice if it accommodated more. Since I have a 3DS, space isn't a huge issue thanks to my digital collection but those who are purchasing purely physical games may find that they can't carry as many games as they like.

Muy buena calidad, el acabado es justo como esperaba y el tamaño también, perfecto para el New Nintendo 3DS XL. Los cartuchos son ligeramente complicados de colocar en los espacios para ellos pero nada que llegué a lo molesto.
