This is the 2nd set of these i bought for different bikes. Way more secure than the factory ¼ turn pins but still sit flush so they're not wasting space like the lever style and don't have plastic knobs to break like some others. Also far cheaper than the rickrak version of these.

So this will work, but I suggest a little parts addition. Let's start with you have to use the supplied brackets and hardware. These aren't the same thread as 2014 and up. This isn't a big deal because it takes about 5 minutes to swap out the bracket(x4).I do suggest a trip to your local blue store to pick up some washers though. I thought the small supplied nylon washer wasn't good enough so I purchased 4 x 5/8 inch fender washers and 4 x 5/8 hardened washers to spread out the pressure(simulating the factory washer). I used the supplied lock washer and this gives a small gap allowing easy removal. If the fender washer was supplied I'd give it 5 stars. However, needing to replace bracket and add washers felt like a single star reduction. Still I'd recommend these with the additional washers. I've included pictures of the set up and bag. And yes there's a Bigfoot sighting.

I like the added security of the bolt on application. They also look good and were quickly installed.

They secure the bags well but a bit of a pain in the arse to put bags on and remove.

Anyone running saddle bags needs to get rid of the twist locks and go with these before they end up losing a bag and all that's in them. I prefer these over the plastic knob also I've got the plastic knows on my roadking but I put these on my Electra glide and I also like the extended reach cause it just makes them alittle easier to start for me anyway since I've got speakers in my lids and all trying to hold everything in place just makes it easier...I've got a bike shop and I've sold a dozens of these it's great piece of mind for under 20 bucks compared to the cost of a new set of bags and whatever you got in the bags if your lucky enough to find the bag and it ain't been ran over plus paint.....spend the 20.00 bucks

I dont worry about the saddle bags coming loose and falling off or thief now . They are good and secure . The locks arrived before delivery date. Easy to install. 5 star....

Searched long and hard for these saddle bag parts. Not easily found anywhere else. Keeps the saddle bags from bouncing around ang getting damaged. And... the frame mounting clips are also included too!
