I had a knit hat for winter but I hated wearing it, because it was too tight. I'm a man and my wife says I have a big head. It looks like a normal man's head to me.This hat is perfect. It's stretchy enough that it would fit an even bigger head, but it keeps my head and ears snug and warm in the cold. It stays thick when it's on--doesn't stretch out to be too thin.And it's soft. We keep the house pretty cold at night, so I sometimes wear it to bed. I couldn't do that if it were scratchy.I feel like I really got lucky with this knit cap.

Based on some of the negative reviews I was skeptical, but it’s a really cute beanie. I’d say based on the design and size it’s sized for women. I like that it’s cotton, so it can go through the washing machine. I will be wearing this a lot.

Very comfortable beanie and it fits really well on me so I ordered another and would have ordered again except I never received my second order. It's been several weeks and although the Amazon chatbot says it's in transit, I have lost hope. And not eligible for a refund? - Hmmmm.

i have a oval head, a bit larger, this beanie is big enough, its soft, cotton right.thinner, not hot, although it would be good for coldish weather.if I wanted to stretch it, i'm sure it would stretch quite a bit.it doesn't mess your hair up like a tight nylon/poly beanie.i wear in the ac of the office, its good

Replaced the one I've had for at 15 years. I wore it most of the time. That one was stretched out. I'd say 15 years of service is a pretty good deal for this price.

By the description, I didn't expect this to be a basic run-of-the-mill knit cap, but that's what it is. It is too heavy for a summer cap, which was what I was expecting. It doesn't feel like cotton (acrylic?), is double layered and tightly knit; not the thing for cancer patients in summer, or for bald people who need just a little cover for comfortable sleeping on cool summer nights. Nice hat, all the same, and we'll keep it for an extra cold weather cap, but NOT a light-weight cotton knit night cap type thing, if that is what you are looking for. Back to the drawing board...

My husband has a large head and it is hard to find hats that fit. He also has skin allergies to synthetic fabrics. Recently we were given the sad news my husband needed chemo and would lose his hair. He is very cold natured and I was told he will be even more sensitive to the cold due to his treatment. I knew I needed a hat to keep him warm but due to his skin allergies I needed to find one with mostly natural fibers. This fit the need so I ordered one to test. It fit him and was comfortable. It was such a blessing to find. I quickly ordered several more so he could wear them daily. They wash easily which was needed due to frequent use. He and I are very happy and thankful for these hats.
