Final update: After nine months this is still working perfectly. Very easy to clean, the parts snap together in perfect alignment, it continues to run quietly and the kitties love it. I clean it about every two weeks.Update after four days: Working well, I have two cats and they took to it immediately, no hesitation. This runs silent except when the water is low and then you'll hear a gurgling noise. Fill the base to the top level mark then fill the tank. I have noticed this seems to be a generic type product, I found the same item (same price) with different branding at several locations on Amazon. Perhaps that is why it is so difficult to find replacement filters. After much ado, I did locate them and here's the Amazon link. I have the LED model, which shines a pretty blue light on the stream of water, which serves to assure that the pump is working at full power. I was afraid my guys would be skittish, but the real scardy cat came over and started drinking without hesitation.I plan to use this as a replacement for a long-lived, but still serviceable, stainless steel Drinkwell 360, which has a lot of parts which require constant cleaning. This fountain will require cleaning, but it's small size probably will make the job much quicker.Tip: Rinse the charcoal filter under the tap before use to avoid (harmless) particles from entering the bowl.Tip: Fill the basin first, THEN mount the filled reservoir.Tip: I marked the fill/refill lines with a dark marker, it makes it easier to see the water levels.I should note this was shipped only in the factory box with no other exterior packaging, and that box wasn't even sealed. No damage, though.I will update this review after a few days of use, but initial impressions are just fine.

I have had this pet fountain for about a month now. So far it has worked perfectly! It is very easy to take apart and clean compared to previous models that I have owned. It has a very modern appearance and the bright blue LED light gives this fountain a very unique look. There is a small button attached to the power cord that allows you to turn the LED light on or off. This fountain also sits closer to the floor than previous models that I have owned, which allows my cat to drink more easily. The water in the fountain remains cool at all times and it came with one standard charcoal filter. It is very quiet as well compared to other fountains I have had. It was also very easy to assemble when it arrived. I would recommend this fountain to any pet owner who is looking for a good quality and aesthetically pleasing addition to their home. For the price it honestly can't be beat.

I like the product. it works well and set up easy. The motor stopped working which upset me and I tried to buy another 1 but can't find 1 that fits. I spent another $15 for a new pump but it is too big I have done a search on the web and can't find the same size anywhere so Not happy right now

I have two cats and my girl never drinks enough water. The male will drink from the faucet. I have purchased other pet water fountains but my male always disassembled! Never lasted a day. Ugggh! He is a water fountain monster! Anyway this great fountain is more streamlined and boxed shaped and I was able to create a cat security system to prevent him from taking apart and scattering all over my kitchen floor. 1) I purchased a long strap of water proof velcro to use as a belt around the water chamber and the removable tank. 2) I purchased industrial strength velcro with a sticky back to attach to the bottom of the fountain and then the other piece on my floor. I can pull it off the floor when I want to clean it, but it doesn't budge when the monster tries to smack it around. Now my girl is drinking from the fountain! Yay! Have had it in place for weeks now.This fountain is attractive, remains clean and filter work good (I do have to clean it to keep it nice and hair out of the motor), it's quiet and the little night light great. Best fountain ever!

I'm only writing this review because every fountain link on Amazon India site seems to have faulty products review.My product was also defective. Stopped working after a minute. This seems to be a systemic issue.

Product is faulty and the distributor is a fraud
