I am a healthcare provider and have extensive experience with masks. This mask seems well constructed and I do like that the metal nose strip is woven into the material so it won’t pop off like glued ones will. Doesn’t pull at my ears too hard (again I’m used to wearing masks all day for work so maybe I’m a little more tolerant about this than most). I really like these are individually wrapped as it’s easy to give one to a friend or someone entering your house. Easier to breathe through than many other masks I’ve used (again I wear masks all day) The claim on the side of the box in my photo would indicate that this mask is produced in a factory that is included in the FDA’s EUA list. However I am not able to independently verify that claim as I can’t find any documentation that the HALIDODO brand is actually manufactured by Guangzhou Nan Qi Xing Nonwoven Co as claimed. When I asked for documentation of that claim I was sent a copy of the letter from FDA including Guangzhou however the letter didn’t actually mention HALIDODO by name. Until I am able to independently verify that claim I cannot recommend this mask in a healthcare setting. However these are my preferred mask in public settings. Given the contact information on The side of the box and the overall high quality of the product I feel they are likely genuinely included in the EUA which means they have been verified to the 95% filtration claim.

Comfortable fit, can feel the filtration/seal when breathing in, significantly reduces the ability to smell scents when on. I did the 5 recommended tests to determine if it is counterfeit or not. The tests were the blow test, water leak test, water resistance test, 5 layer test, and burn test. It failed the water leak test which had me worried but I checked the specifications of KN95 and water leak is not a requirement to pass KN95 certification so it's not a foolproof way to tell if it's fake. When I cut the mask open, there were 5 layers and the inside layers melted instead of burned so I'm relatively confident these are acceptable masks. For those who don't know, the N95 and KN95 masks filters 95% of medium sized particulates based on static electricity, and no at-home test can really determine its effectiveness unfortunately. The sophisticated tools needed to test that stuff is just not available to the average person. While the water leak test failed immediately, the reality of it is that it doesn't test static electricity, it tests if water leaks and there's really no correlation between the two. In fact, these are listed as "non-medical", which I assume would mean that they would fail the water leak test. The surgical versions of KN95 should have additional liquid tolerances for stuff like blood splatters and other fluids. In short, I believe these are accurate in their "ingredients list" of 42.5% non-woven fabric, 29% meltblown fabric, and 28.5% hot air cotton. Whether that's effective enough for you is for you to decide.

The masks pass the blow test for trying to blow out a candle flame. I couldn't do it even with candle super close to my masked mouth. There are 5 layers. I have a small face and the mask was a little big so I had to knot the ear loops for a good fit (this is normal for me). The metal nose piece is very comfortable as I could mold it to my face shape. My husband has a large head and the mask fit him perfectly. The ear loops are soft and not too tight on him. Though light can come through the seams, if you look closely those seams are sealed as they are covered in a clear thin plastic. The mask holds water just fine. They come in packs of 5. Once I opened a package, I easily stored the unused masks in a ziploc sandwich bag, so I did not require all masks to be individually wrapped. These are a great buy.

I use two made well and works

The masks came individually wrapped. Seams are heat fused and the whole piece is very very well made. There is no size specified but it is decidedly small. I am an Asian decent, so smallish build and thus my face is proportionally small. It fits me well. Ear loop is on tight side and it is good. Having said all that, I can see regular sized American men will probably find these too small and band too tight. I would imagine the size is based on average people in China. (where it is manufactured) An only advise I can give is to be aware of this, and perhaps buy one box first for test fit.

I have to keep adjusting it so my breath doesn’t constantly exhale into my eyes. It also comes out under my chin. Just not a tight fit, not impressed. I have a pretty average sized face too, so it’s not like masks are a tough fit for me. They’ll be good for home projects but not to prevent illness.
