Purchased this Bosch saw and am glad I did. No more cords for me. Works very nicely and is lightweight. Battery life is good as well. Highly recommend this brand.

Works well with the Bosch track, cuts through wood with ease when powered by their Core 8amp battery. Perfect mate to my Bosch track saw which I love.

I've gone to Bosch for all my battery tools as the 8AH battery is needed for my grinder, blower and vacuum. I use a circular saw on occasion, I picked up a cheap Rigid corded saw only to have the main bearing fail after 3 cuts 2x12 dense knotty pine board. This saw stalled once or twice cutting though a knot but made it all the way.

Not sure why Bosch would put the blade on the right side, especially when only 10% of the world is left handed.... I'm sure there is a reason, but not ideal for me personally. Aside from that, Saw has awesome power and is way lighter than other battery saws. Used it all day with an 8 Ah battery. Granted I'm not cutting rafters or stringers with it at this time, but even then having a second battery on the charger would give you all day usage, especially with the 12Ah battery. Oh and Please Please Please Bosch, stop it with the stupid names....someone at Bosch needs to get fired for that one, the Goon, Hitman, Strongarm.....WTF

I am used to using the one that comes in the kit which is only a six and a half inch saw, the handle is loose it feels flimsy. But this one has a totally different feel it's a larger base the start on the saw is very smooth and it guides nicely. With the what I've been cutting which is mainly Plywood And 2x4s it Breeze's right through with no problem, I do use the 8 amp battery and have not had the opportunity yet to use it all day long to see how long the battery will last so I don't need the extra large battery.

I had the non-rail capable StrongArm, and it was a monster, now I have them both. And I must say, other than not having a locking mechanism for the plunge feature and eating 8ah batteries like a hungry shark, this saw is perfect.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this saw in December, but due to health reasons couldn’t use it until today. I was excited and even bought the track saw to go with it. It went terribly. I checked the manual again and that’s when I discovered I had been sent the G, non-track, version. I am now stuck with over $100 worth of track that got chewed and a saw that works, but is NOT what I wanted or paid for! The manual even said GC! I didn’t think a product straight from Bosch would have to be inspected with a fine tooth comb.

Didn’t think cordless could compete with corded, but wow! This saw has tons of power. I throw the 8amp profactor battery on it and there’s no difference between this and my dad’s corded dewalt saw. Worth the money!

Me encanto su potencias y freno lo que mas me gusto fue que es de 5/8 el eje y la opción de usar rieles, tengo rieles makita solo que el disco quedo como 3 milímetros adelante de el borde estoy pensando comprar otro dejarlo solo para uso en esta sierra. El único pero que le pongo es que el gatillo apenas si lo sueltas un milímetro se apaga y es molesto tener que precionar fuerte cuando solo o ocupas empujar la sierra para hacer el corte.

La sierra cumple con lo establecido, solo no trae luz led , si crees necesario ese accesorio solo ese es el único pero que le pongo

I bought this saw for its dust port feature and greater flexibility due to lack of power cord.I am a bit disappointed. First the power: I have seen claims that the power is comparable to a 15A corded saw. It is not. The saw must be removed from a cut in wood when it is in 3/4" oak if it needs to be restarted. Otherwise it will not start. Definitely, it does not have power of an AC powered saw. Maybe I am spoiled by worm drive Skil saw.It drains a 5Ah relatively quickly but I do not see it as a problem. It is the nature of a battery powered tool.I was having hopes better for dust collection. There is still dust escaping even when a shop vac is attached to the saw.I may be returning the saw since it is a bit under powered for me and the dust collection is not what I was hoping for.
