A cave was of interest to all dinosaurs. If the cave was big enough, it was a good place to hide from enemies. The predatory dinosaurs of course knew this and looked for prey there. A Quetzalcoatlus circles above the cave and waits for an incautious young animal that it can sweep down on. A Carnotosaurus is also waiting for the right moment to strike. Watch out, little dinosaur, that none of the robbers get you.

Not worth the price
You are paying for the name here. While the dinosaurs themselves were nice quality, the cave comes in two pieces which do not stay together. The cave barely stays on the “sand” bottom and the vines do not stay on the top of the cave.It is very frustrating for a child to play with and certainly not worth $50.It is a shame because there are not many playsets with a habitat type of addition for dinosaurs out there.I was considering the dinosaur volcano as a Christmas or birthday present but after this there is no way I would spend $200 on a toy from this company.Only giving three stars because of the quality and details on the figures.

Love schleich very high quality!
My son loves schleich. This is so well made! I actually scored this for an amazing price during the black Friday sale. I feel that what you pay is very fair for what you get! All the dinosaurs in the picture and the cave is very durable and nicely made! The big dinosaurs do not fit inside the cave! But if you think your little one would want the trex act. To fit schleich offers smaller dinosaurs which do fit in the cave!

Great product but came missing one dinosaur
This product is great, but we did not receive the flying Quetzalcoatlus dinosaur that is supposed to be included. When I emailed Schleich at their customer service email, I received no response. My son loves this present, but as you can imagine he is confused because he received a baby with no mother.Stand by your products and send out the complete set, like I paid for!

Doesn't fit together, but cool Dinosaurs.
The dinosaurs are great. The problem is that the top of the cave doesn't click into place, and the cool vines that are supposed to hang off don't fit into the holes at all. So no vines, and a wobbly roof that keeps falling offf.

For $55 at least the foliage should fit into the holes. I returned this item. The rest of it...dinosaurs and cave were ok but it upset me that we couldn't get the foliage to fit so the front of the cave isn't covered by it.

cave is unwieldy
As ever with Schleich, the dinosaurs are fantastic and I would give them a 5/5. However the cave does not easily go together and attaching some of the foliage is very difficult and doesn't stay in place. Had I tried it first I wouldn't have bought it and would have stuck with just getting the dinosaurs.

My son loves this but I have to express some disappointment in the way it is put together. Even when pressed together completely, when a child picks it up the cave falls apart and comes off the base.We have had to remedy this defect with some well placed spots of super glue. This is our only disappointment.
