Worked like a charm.
Replaced fork seals last season, developed a slight leak this spring and thought I'd have to do it again. LOTS of people online mention these so I figured I'd give it a try and they worked like a charm. Once I cleaned out the seal, the leak got bigger, however after bouncing the forks a couple of times as per the instructions, that was it.

These work!
They do not work if the seals are ruined, but if there is dirt between the seal and fork slider, use this tool to pull out the offending dirt granules. Make sure and remove the outer seal first, then use it on the actual seal. I have used this tool several times on different dual sport bikes and have successfully stopped leaks without removing the fork tube from the bike. You may need to add fork oil if it has been leaking for awhile. Also, make sure your brake pads haven't been saturated with fork oil. Can be used on the trail and it is easy to pack. Potential cheap fix!

Works as advertised
I've used these about a dozen times over the last 10 years, they work well and in most cases can clean out fork seals to salvage not having to rebuild right away. Obviously by losing fluid in your forks they do need to be rebuilt but at least this can stop the leaking and buy you time until you can afford to have a bike pulled apart and sit for a while to have rebuild done.

It actually worked, so consider me a believer.
My one front fork on my 1800 Goldwing started weeping. I knew it had just started, so I was pretty sure oil loss was minimal. This is important because if you don't know how much oil you've lost, you are much safer to overhaul your forks and replace bushings and seals. I followed the instructions and I can say that so far, my fork seal is back to normal. Consider me a believer.Ultimately, I know that my 1800 will need the forks to be overhauled, because the bushings, seals and oil are wear items, but the season isn't over yet and things are leak free. I saw someone reviewing this tool and he explained that the reason it cracked on him was because the plastic tool was old, so keep it away from light and try to care for it because plastic bits in your fork is never a good thing. He also thought this tool was worth having and so do I.

Works great
It’s a bit of a challenge to make it work but saved me some money on parts and labour to repair
