The best taleggio that I have eaten for a while.
I loved the Taleggip. It reminded us of the ones we eat when we were on our holiday in Italy. Great flavour, fresh and great for a Summer evening picnic.

After having purchased this. I looked it up to check to see if it was cow cheese or another animal. That it was made for. then found this had been recalled. The cheese had the markings as detailed. so we decided to bin it. before someone ate it.

Very Tasty Taleggio
I use this in Nigel Slater's amazing Potato supper dish and as an alternative to Brie in my Bacon, Rocket & Chilli Jam with Cheese sandwich which is awesome.Lovely tasty creamy oozy cheese that needs ripening. I always leave to the last week on the BBdate so it's mature, soft and smelly.Or, it's just great on a fresh Baguette or any toasted slice
