Brain exercise
I've always wanted to learn how to do needlepoint. Buy doing these two kits I did learn, but, I was frustrated when I ran out of some of the colors of yarn. I was able to use the 2nd kit to provide the yarn that was needed. To finish the 2nd kit I had to find similar yarn from other projects I had at home. Luckily I started with the butterfly and was able to be a bit creative to do the flower. I would advise an adult to do one of these kits them self before giving it to a 5 year old to do on their own. That way you'll know where they might need some advice.

Didn’t receive what was advertised and ordered
Love this product, but was sent 2 of the butterfly needle points instead of one butterfly and one flower. If you advertise it as a bundle of 2 different needle points, don’t switch and bait by sending 2 of the same. It’s not ok to send something different from what was advertised and ordered.

Excellent and easy to do for my 6 year old ...
Excellent and easy to do for my 6 year old daughter. We followed a beginners needlepoint YouTube video for a quick start and she was off! She completed the flower in less than a week and is now working on the butterfly. Wonderful introduction to sewing.

For older children
These are a little old for our 7 year old granddaughter. She got frustrated very easy with them.

Cute crafts
They were gifts and I haven't heard if the kids have put them together yet. I usually open all orders to make sure that everything is supposed to be there is included before I gift. These kits looked fun and easy and everything was included.

Kits are better for an older child. My twelve year old is lazy and quit on it, but it is just as described.

Great gift for young people!
I bought it as a gift for a 10 year old girl. Looks pretty easy to do.Have yet to find out if she liked doing it.
