6 Sigma in a Nutshell
I bought this guide as I was getting bogged down with the huge text book that was issued with the Black Belt course I'm following. It has good summary flowcharts, graphs and checklists to follow depending on the type of project or data you have and well-written "1-liners" to descibe each topic. I doubt I'll ever refer to my original text book again, but I'll keep this guide to hand as the graphics and clarity it brings are excellent.

A Great Resource For Green & Black Belt Trainees
This is a great resource - I was swayed by the positive feedback from previous buyers of this product and I wasn't disappointed. Its ring binder design makes it easy to use and very informative without weighing you down with huge volumes of text, with online resource available too - this is a great supplement to the training material. I have recommended it to colleagues also studying for their six sigma qualifications.

Lean Six Sigma & Minitab
This book has been well designed with a spiral binding that enables you to flip through each of the tabbed DMAIC (plus Manage and Appendices) sections quickly and efficiently. It is well laid out, with plenty of useful diagrams, and I particularly like the excellent overview diagram that begins each of the tabbed sections. It makes for easy reference and the diagram provide a clear and comprehensive explanation of the process, sufficient, I would suggest, to be used on their own for revision guidance. There are plenty of diagrams throughout and easy to use instructions for Minitab.I am happy to recommend the book as comprehensive, easy to use and great value for money.I find it a great help :)

Excellent; A must for any Change Agent
I'm pretty new to the world of Lean Sigma, & being a recently qualified Greenbelt I knew there was so much more to learn, understand & implement in my future CI work.I've found it so difficult to find a book that is easy to understand, follow & get the results expected (especially in the world of statistics & minitab !).This toolbox guide is literally like having a MBB by my side & I take this book everywhere. The size, shape & layout of it makes it comfortable to use & (as with other reviewers) there aren't many days when I haven't dipped in & either found comfort in the fact that I'm following the right steps, or (more so, been reminded what to do next & why !).I would recommend this book to any Change Agent.

Excellent reference material
As a newly trained Black Belt, I was looking for companion reference material which would support the training and assist on my project. This book is excellently laid out, very easy to follow and has some good examples of screenshots from Minitab which I have found very useful. The level of detail should ensure that this book is as useful to an experienced BB looking to ratify next steps as it is to an inexperienced BB requiring more guidance and assurance.

Essential
Essential if you are a new user to Minitab or Six Sigma principles. Like any piece of multi functional software, you will only use a small selection of functions. I use I-MR, SPC, Pareto, Process Cabability studies almost daily and don't need the book to understand these. However, I do need it to understand the lesser used functions. Also, I would recommend taking advantage of the online training available at the Minitab website. In addition to using Minitab, the book very nicely guides the reader through the Six Sigma DMAIC process in a clear, easy to understand manner.

Great book but not clear you can get soft copy from Apple iBooks Store (not available via Amazon)
I had a previous version of this book which I used all the time until it 'disappeared' at work! Thought I'd take the opportunity to get an updated version and looked on Amazon for a 'soft' version I could have on my iPad rather than having to cart the paper book round with me. Couldn't see at electronic version on Amazon so bought the paper version which arrived quickly etc. On opening the book imagine my surprise to find in the inside back cover an advert for the electronic version available from the Apple iBooks store! Maybe my fault for not looking on the iBooks store to start with but it would be nice if they at least offered a discount on the electronic version if you've already bought the paper version! Also, interestingly if you use the 'look inside' feature on Amazon the page that advertises the iBooks version is conveniently not shown while the pages before and after it are! For info I paid £28.49 for the paper version with free delivery while the iBooks version is £35.99 - how do the pricing economics of that work then! Perhaps a Lean Six Sigma project is needed to 'improve' this!

Well designed
This book is ideal if you are using it frequently as it is well made and shouldn't fall apart. The content is well laid out and follows the DMAIC process. There is a handy check list at the end of each section that you can use to identify anything you may have missed.
