This was pretty much exactly what I was expecting. I can see that some people received crates that had some warping of the plywood but that was not the case with either of mine the capacity is probably 100 if most of your albums are single sleeve but I have a few double albums (fair enough to count them double) but also quite a lot of gatefold sleeves, so the hold in the low 80s and I was expecting that and am quite happy with that. What I was a bit annoyed about, but noticed before I ordered so it didn’t fool me, is the photograph(s) demonstrating the crate capacity. The LPs in the picture (I have included close ups to highlight this) are actually two separate picture stitched together at about halfway the LPs to the left of centre are sloping left and so the ones on the right are sloping right. This means the image is impossible as the two LPs at the joint meet about a third of their way down and the bottom edge of each would be about 10 albums beyond the one tit is supposed to be up against. This seems like a deliberate attempt to mislead the customer.I used a cordless drill to drive in the screws to join the ends to the sides and base. It was very straightforward and just needed a little bit of care to make sure that the end and side were correctly lined up. Some people seem to have been annoyed the ends did not have hole predrilled to receive the screw but this would have made the join less strong. The side that the screw went through first were all pre drilled and this worked really well.The only other tool I needed was a bradawl to make little dents to receive the short screws the hold the castors in place this has helped tidy up two loads of LPs I just had stacked agains the wall and I am pleased with them

Good quality materials.....sturdy good looking boxes...Sure.....the pre drilled holes are a little too small for the screws ...need widening a bit...and the end pieces need a small hole hole drilling (3mm bit 👍perfect).... But you have a record collection so you're probably a bloke and drilling a hole or two is no trouble to ya 🙂They're good, I bought a second one .

Overall nice looking crate, just what we were after for our records. I definitely wouldn’t say it’s good value for money as I could have got a better quality crate and just added my own wheels for cheaper. The bottom board was bowed so slopes on one side and is higher on the other. The screws for the wheels are longer than the bottom board itself so very slightly poke through. I had to cut some cardboard to fit in the bottom to stop the screws from scratching/damaging the records. Also there were no ‘pre drilled holes’ even tho it stated their should be when following the instructions. Overall all I can say is it looks good but not £30 good.

It's a bit pricey, but it's kind of niche I suppose. Set up was complicated by not having guide holes in the end pieces, but got around this using an impact driver (only supplied with a screwdriver thingy which would never do the job). The wheels are good and help with scooting the box along the floor in all directions.

Firstly it’s great quality wood but yes the side panels holes were pre drilled but the ends were not pre drilled making it very difficult to screw the screws in so I drilled the holes on the side of both end panels otherwise it wound be near impossible to get the screws in so what should have took very short time to assemble took a lot longer other than that it’s a nice box.

Funferar bra och var lätt att sätta ihop, men går ej att ha vinylboxar i den.

LA madera es muy dura, es imposible usar la llave suministrada. Aún empleando buenas herramientas, la madera, pese a ser fina, resulta extraordinariamente difícil de perforar. Es preciso emplear un martillo y termina fracturándose estructuralmente. Me ha decepcionado profundamente.

Come prima cosa la scatola è arrivata aperta. Non è stata sigillata e si è aperto da solo. Poi è stato impossibile montare con o senza trapano. Non sono riuscita con una cacciavite che non ci sono fori nel pezzo più spessa del contenitore. Mi sono pure fatta male al braccio. Poi il mio compagno ha cercato e montarla con il trapano ma non ha fatto altro che rovinare le viti. E' un peccato che la cassetta è la più attraente che ho trovato. Il legno non è di alta qualità ma sarebbe bastato.

The reality corresponds to what appears in the picture.Nice looking, durable, records fit perfectly. Good quality product for the money.The only downside - if possible, use your own screws. The included screws were too soft for the hard wood of the box.
