Clarks Men's Exton Walk Oxford

I am a fan of Clarks brand shoes to begin with. This is maybe the 5th pair I have owned. all my other pairs have been more casual, like their Chukka boots. This was my first pair of work shoes that I have tried for the company and they are pretty much what the doctor ordered. I really like the Oxford styling. The leather is thick, high quality and looks very nice. I also really like the different colored layers on the heel, differentiating it from other standard work Oxfords. most importantly, though, they are COMFORTABLE. I work at a desk so its not like I am on my feet all day but I do have to do a decent amount of walking around through the day and these shoes hold up very nicely to that level of use. I have come to expect comfort as one of the leading factors for purchasing Clarks and they do not disappoint. For this price point I am very happy with this shoe and once I wear these into the ground, will look to Clark for my next pair.

Nice shoes for the money, but I have the unfortunate task of replacing Fryes that I loved. The Frye leather is so much thicker, the shoes so much more substantial, and about $150 more expensive... Truth be told, I have a rule with shoes that I broke for these - spend the money. Dress shoes? Allen Edmonds. They will last you decades if you have Allen Edmonds recondition them. Casual shoes? Hunt for the right pair (in my case, Frye), spend the $250, and they will last a long long time. The beauty of this rule is every single time you put on that perfect pair of shoes, you will be happy about it. Every time. (I have the same rule with cars - if you get a crap car, you will never be happy. If you get a car you love, regardless of money, you will always be happy getting into it, and you will keep it a long long time).For $90, these are excellent. Really. I just think I have to follow my own rules.

I own a different pair of Clark's that are super comfortable. These ones are good but a bit stiffer, probably because they are dressier shoes. So far I like these a lot. They are professional looking and at the same time the heels have an interesting browb design.

Love the look of the shoes but it was too small especially the width. Had to return

Liked the look of these shoes and were generally comfortable, but I had to return them because the topline (top of the side of the shoe) dug into my ankles as I walked.

The leather isn't amazing but for the price I think these are pretty great, fit well and look cool.

Love the shoe but is a little larger than my normal sizing. For narrow feet, go a half size down.

Received the shoes promptly and they were nice looking but the left shoe must have been mismarked size because it fit a whole size smaller than the right and was way too tight to wear. Line them up sole to sole and the right shoe was almost an inch longer.
