This product is a total piece of garbage. Changing my strings for the first time with this thing, the peg winder can't wind without a piece of the badly-designed plastic coming in contact with the peg winder, so it hits almost every time, and then after I finish changing my strings as I'm cutting the ends off, it breaks after the low e string, breaking into two halves. I can't think of a product experience worse than this, other than maybe the peg winder breaking literally on the first thing I did instead of the second. Just spend the same amount of money and buy a planet Waves one. Be wary of Amazon selling cheap Chinese replicas of quality products, that look a lot like the quality counterpart, but only work for one day. I wonder if this is how they make a lot of their money.

These suck! These would NOT cut my strings and I use the standard light NYXL strings for my electric guitar. I usually go to guitar center for my string cutters but decided I'd give these cheap ones a try with amazon prime and I am highly disappointed with this product. It feels like a dollar store toy and the clipper is way smaller than the standard string cutters I usually use, they would NOT cut my light strings at all! Do not buy this!

Worked just fine cutting about a dozen strings, but after that....useless. At that point, kind of bent the string all twisted without a clean cut of any type. Heading straight to the trash can.

It's a good winder of strings. The peg puller is a JOKE, it's flimsy and bends around the pegs. Personally I'd get a winder with a peg puller in the winder (like most). Then just use a pair of needle nose pliers to cut.

The media could not be loaded.  100% used and banged up... I expect a new product when I pay for one. Unacceptable.

The unit overall was comfortable to use but the guitar string cutter was very difficult to us, had to break out my wire cutters. The pin fork was barely long enough to get enough leverage to pry up the pins. On one of the pins I was delicately prying/loosening and it snapped the head off of the pin, so now I need to purchase new and stronger pins.

It's rare that I change strings on my instruments these days (long retired from active gigs), so I don't need anything super-fancy to do my winding for me. I found this basic multi-purpose tool to be very effective for my limited needs. Especially helpful is the peg puller for getting the old strings off the instrument.//jm

Cutter works well, winder wasn't super good, ended up turning with my own hand. if you need something basic and affordable, would recommend this one.

It broke after cutting one string... it's very small and not convenient.

This thing broke while I was literally cutting THE SECOND string. I cannot believe a piece of rubbish like this cost 10+ dollars
