Do not buy!!! They leak!!!
DO NOT BUY THE NEW VERSION!!! THEY LEAK!!! Highly disappointed that Honest would change their diaper design because the original version was perfect and possibly the best diaper on the market. I am deeply sad that we now have to change diaper brands after using Honest for so long. Honest please go back to the original version of the diapers.

These diapers have a gross smell-but not when I buy from other places-only when I buy here
I’ve always lovesd these diapers. I’ve been buying them for both of my kids for years, from Target. I decided to buy them here because the price was better. Adorable patterns, great absorbency, all natural, etc...the reason I’m giving them a 4 star review instead of 5 is because they have an odd smell. Everytime I’ve gotten them from Target, they’re smelled nice and fresh. I don’t know if it’s because these are old or what, but they just don’t smell good. And once the baby pees in them, forget about it! I can’t describe it, but it’s not pleasant. Sometimes it even smells as though the baby has pooped, even when it’s only pee (first thing in the morning). Diapers still work well, but they smell gross. I might go back to purchasing them from Target.

Tons of manufacturing defects
I have been using honest diapers all of my daughters life and never had an issue. On our most recent box there were tons of manufacturing defects and I am really disappointed.Edit to add: I reached out directly to Honest Co and they said they wouldn’t be able to help because I purchased on amazon. SOOO disappointed and frustrated that I have to throw so many diapers away and they refuse to help.

Not the old Honest diapers anymore
We have used Honest diapers almost exclusively for our 15mo old son. They worked so well, we never had issues with diaper rash or redness, and he seemed perfectly comfortable in them. I was excited when I saw that Honest had some new designs coming out as well as a wetness indicator. What I didn't gather immediately was that Honest has completely revamped their diapers and aren't selling the old style anymore. The new style is a very, very poor design. The lining of the diaper has gotten stuck to my son. It also has a "channel" design in the absorbent pulp. You can see light through the channel and it makes the diaper feel flimsy and cheap, although I was hoping it may be more comfortable. What that channel also does is keep wetness from being absorbed by other areas of the diaper and HOLDS that wetness against your baby's skin. No matter how soon I changed his diaper, he was red where the wetness sat.We are switching away from Honest. They've done a disservice changing their design this much and if your baby has sensitive skin, steer clear.

Cons outweighed pros
A lot to say about these honest diapers.. Lets just do a pros and cons list.Starting with the cons because sadly I feel the cons outweigh the pros. Purchased Size 5.Cons-1. These diapers are absorbent but moisture does not seal in. Meaning once your baby has peed even a little the moisture is held against their privates and if you don't change the diaper every 5 to 10 minutes your baby will get a rash. At least my baby did.. she has sensitive skin which is why I chose these diapers in the first place. Defeating the purpose of spending extra money on looking for diapers for sensitive skin.2. These diapers run small !!! All other brands (size 5) are much bigger than these. And I have a petite baby.. nowhere near overweight.3. 100 diapers per box was not enough. I did the Subscribe and save option trying to save a little money getting two boxes a month so that's a total of 200 diapers per month. I ran out before the month was over. Sadly I think that also has to do with the fact I was changing the diapers so often because they didn't seal in moister. Leaving my daughter feeling wet even after a tiny pee, fighting off rashes changing diapers no less than every 30 mins.Pros-1. Cute patterns2. Pretty much leak free3. Relatively soft material inside and outIn the end I decided on canceling my subscription was honest diapers Club and I'm going back to Pampers pure size 5. I've been a subscribe and save member with pampers pure for a little over half a year. They ran out of stock in June which is why I was forced to try a different brand and I thought Honest looks like a good choice. With pampers pure they have a blue line that shows up after the diaper has been peed in.. even with the blue line when I take the diaper off there is no moisture or wetness against my daughter's private area. Meaning no rashes (YAY) but the outside of their diapers seems to be a little rough so I have to put shorts or panties over the diapers to keep the diapers off of her thighs if I don't a tiny rash appears on my daughter's thighs. I know go figure ..but I would rather a rash not be on her private area and as long as I keep panties or shorts over the diapers she is rash free always. And on the super plus side you get 132 per box and I get two boxes a month leaving me with a total of 264 diapers per month. I always have some leftover and I don't worry at all waiting for my next shipment. I hope things continue to work for me with pampers pure because finding sensitive skin diapers for a decent price is a huge pain in the butt. Good luck and happy Hunting.
