I was standing in the grocery aisle looking at boxes of microwave popcorn when I wondered, when did popcorn become so expensive? As a kid my parents used to take me to Ted's Popcorn stand and the popcorn was really delicious -- and had real butter if you wanted it. As time went buy, I somehow began to substitute convenience for flavor and price. No matter how I tried to cook those bags of popcorn in the microwave, those bags of popcorn never cooked evenly and there were always too many un-popped kernels in the bottom of that yucky mystery "grease" that clings to the roof of your mouth. So I decided to bite the bullet and try a new popcorn popper in the hopes of having affordable popcorn that was easy to pop without all those chemicals in it. Well, this product exceeded my expectations. It was quick, it was easy to use. It held a goodly amount of popcorn while also allowing you to make a smaller batch. It was very easy to use. I could add salt to the popper or go salt free -- my choice. Inside the bowl there were markings showing you how much corn to put in so you could make a large or small batch. You could add oil if you want, or go oil free. You could even eat the popcorn straight from the bowl without having your wrist covered in yellow mystery grease from reaching into a paper bag. I bought fresh popcorn to go with my new popper, and was amazed that every single kernel popped. No burnt or singed pieces. If i wanted to, I could even make popcorn balls or flavored popcorn (like Poppycock or Fiddle Faddle) or even use it to make popcorn strands for the xmas tree -- things you don't do with bagged microwave popcorn. It tastes like old fashioned popcorn.It washes, easily. The bowl collapses to save space in the kitchen. Cooks popcorn quickly.So far I have found no downside to this product.

absolutely love this popper! Since it’s just me, I usually go with 1/2 cup of kernels, pop it in for 3 minutes, and it’s done. It is incredibly easy to use. Super safe, even for younger kids. The bowl was not hot taking it out of the microwave and if it drops, no breakage (just a mess to clean up).I did try a full cup the first time, and I was shocked—it popped every single kernel. Seriously, all of them! No burning. It was actually a bit more than the bowl could handle, so the lid pushed up, but nothing spilled out.One of the best parts is that you don't have to add any oil, so the popcorn isn't greasy at all. Plus, it folds down flat, which makes storage a breeze, even in tight spaces. It is so much better than having a bulky appliance taking up precious counter space. If you want something super easy and efficient, this is it!

I love this popper! It worked very well. I filled it to the 1/4 c line .. put on the lid .. and popped it in the microwave for 2 -3 minutes ... and whala! Popcorn! Just add butter and you are set to go! ... Popcorn tasted great and hardly any kernels were left unpopped. It did not burn either. I used Orville Redenbacher's popcorn. ... It is really nice heavy silicone and washed up beautifully. I did not have to use oven mits to take out of the microwave. The handles seemed ok to the touch for me. I purchased the teal to match my other kitchen utensils.

This popper surprised me. So easy to use, no oil required. Popcorn is fluffy with few kernels left unpopped. (I use Red Mill popcorn which is also good quality.) Cleanup is a breeze — basically just rinse it out. Like it so much I bought one for my daughter.

Perfect for small places with no storage such as a condo. This collapses to basically what a plate takes up. Electric poppers take up so much space and break after 1 year. This is a much cheaper option which works just as good as electric, if not better. Simply spray the bowl with your favorite oil such as coconut or avocado, add handful of kernels, pop 3 minutes, sprinkle with your butter and toppings. Tastes great! Pops perfectly!

Works so very well!!! Wonderfully crisp popcorn without leaving a lot of unpopped kernels. What an easy way to make healthy popcorn. Only complains is the bottom has a tall lip which catches water in the dishwasher but that’s a minor issue for me.

So easy to use and clean and makes so much popcorn! The kids love it!

It’s saved us loads on the bagged popcorn. We used it for school lunches. I don’t think the popcorn is as good as the bagged as you can’t put butter etc in. But it’s so so so much cheaper to make your own and you don’t have the waste. It takes 2mins no more in our microwave. Works everytime.

This is incredible product and is easy to use. My receipt for great popcorn is:Put 50ml of corn on the bottom and put small amount of butter and salt by taste. I personally cut the butter on small pieces and then mash it with my hands.Put the lid and set it on low power 50-70% in the microwave for 1 minute. When it stops turn the power to 100% for 3 minutes. The popcorn is delicious out of this world.

Got burned in my microwave oven.Smoked my microwave oven. Now I have to buy a new one.Do not waste your time and safety with this product.
