Intel NUC & Decimator MD-HX Converter Rackmount Solution
A well thought out Rack mount fixture. For us, a perfect solution for Rack mounting an Intel NUC + a Decimator MD-HX converter, side by side. We first tried mounting the crossbar recessed but that proved problematic when attaching the Intel NUC to same. For an Intel NUC, the crossbar needs to be attached flush front of rack for easy access to all side NUC USB ports. We're using (4) SKB 6U Shallow Rack Cases. Everything fits with the Lids on. This RIG supports our Blackmagic Design ATEM 2 M/E Production Studio 4K Video Switch.Another possible option, to maximize space, would be using 2 crossbars for a Front & Rear mount. Thus allowing mounting of as many as 4 Intel NUCs! That would require 2 kits unless the crossbar could be purchased separately as an add on. The crossbar has threaded holes, making NUC mounting simple and easy. The Kit is heavy duty and needs to be seen to be fully appreciated. Never tried using the Monitor mount.Another possibility would be to make the crossbar as just a face plate, as is, for rack mounting NUCs. Expensive? Ever tried rack mounting a NUC? Ever tried rack mounting a Decimator MD-HX converter? Found anything else that works? This works and works well! Appreciate the quality in workmanship! Hope this helps! Your results may vary. If anyone is interested, let us know, we'll throw an image up to view.

So happy to have found this
Sturdy and solid! I was nervous to mount a 32” LCD TV to a rack cabinet, and this was the perfect solution.

Nice piece of equipment.
It was a nice piece of equipment, unfortunately the monitors did not have VESA holes, so couldn't use.

It was exactly what I needed!
I didn't take a picture of this one and I wish I had. We have a small wiring closet at a remote branch and needed to mount a monitor to view the gate entrance at the branch but there wasn't enough room on the wall to support a display, instead I added it to the open rack that was mounted to the wall and setup the touch screen on it so the screen sticks out just slightly from the rack. This is really great for half depth racks where a fold out KVM might not have space but an interface is needed. This is one of those kinds of things that I honestly didn't know if it even existed until I went searching and found it, I am so glad it does, it saved me so many headaches

Very solid option, but a bit pricey
The build quality and design are top notch. The brackets are very heavy duty gauge steel. The assembly is straightforward. Once in place it’s perfect. However the adjustments on the mount arm are not obvious and can be tricky to adjust without specific tools. The price to value ratio is heavily weighted towards expensive, but not as high as some rack mount products. In this space, if you want top notch quality you’re going to be forced to pay the premium. For this product I think it was worth it.
