Q: My waist is 40 1/2 inches; could the large work or do I need a bigger size?

I wear a 34" waist and am using the size medium right now (today) for skiing. Works fine for me, just takes about 5 minutes to almost forget you've got it on. I'm putting off surgery for the hernia until about late January, so I'm using this religiously for any and all activities that uses the core muscles. I'll ask the Doc if I need it post surgery.

Q: Does the size S (28"-32") refer to the waist measurement?

Yes I have a 31" waist and it fits snug.

Q: How do you know what size to get?

Q: Does it come sealed in plastic air tight? Mine came and looks used. I can definitely tell it has been out of the box and retaped

Can’t remember how it came but it looked brand new.
