This works really well for me, i use it to rip CDs onto my phone when I'm out buying secondhand CDs. I've been thinking of buying another as a backup but they are really hard to get hold of, there don't seem to be many Android drives like this around. The drive itself doesn't seem very robust, I carry it in a hard case and I've had no problems so far.

Although looking quite flimsy the drive has lasted well and performed faultlessly over many months. it has been easy to connect to my computer and is truly plug and play. It just works without a hitch and is really good value. It is difficult to see what more expensive units can offer.

The CD/DVD player works perfect on my tablet with the app it tells you to download. The battery drain isn't bad either. But I haven't been able to get it work on my PC, I tried to install the software that's on the disk provided, but after the installation process, it comes up with a installation error and the software won't open. Tried it twice with same error. I'm on windows 10, which says it's compatible with. (I'm on a new gaming pc with no dvd drive). I downloaded a free dvd app on the windows store and it seems to play a DVD alright, as long as you don't use any of the skip features on the software, otherwise the film will crash and the dvd will go back to the disk menu. I also got this to install disk games and rip some CDs, but haven't been able to do that either, my pc just won't open the disk that's inside when you click on it. I don't mind that it just works on my tablet atm, as watching films on my tablet is pretty neat as I can watch it in bed, but would of liked that it worked on pc aswell, but just can't seem to get it to work 🤷🏼‍♀️

I was looking for a portable DVD plyer that i can just connest to my laptop to watch movies on as most laptops dont come with the disc drives anymore so I came across this one. I read all the reviews by other people who purchased this product and also checked out YouTube reviews and I have to say that this was very easy to set up and use and there is no noise while playing DVD,s and CD's and it's not that big and very light which makes it easy to be placed into a laptop bag or backpack. You need to download the media player but it's all in the instruction manual that comes with it. Given this 5 stars cause its nice and small and portable and there is no loud noises when playing DVD'S or CD's.

What a pity. The drive kept disconnecting and reconnecting intermittently from my android 14 tablet. When it was working the programme that came with it would quickly and accurately make a digital back up of my CDs complete with their metadata but disconnecting itself while in the middle of compiling or idle made it too unreliable. Unfortunately it played up too many times to the point where it was unusable and my temper got the better of me by smashing it to pieces on the kitchen tiles. Like I said what a pity.

The drive itself is great. The cyberlink media suite is horrendous, it basically just gives an 8 day free trial for power dvd and after 8 days you're screwed unless you pay an unreasonable amount of money.

This is excellent DVD drive. I have been using this with my Android TV (Philips) and also with Laptop and tablet. Also works with Linux.It works as expected, so this is a good choice if you need to have portable DVD drive.It doesn't work out of the box with Android TV or tablet. You need to install first some additional apps to use this as DVD player recorder.

I was looking for a small DVD player that could run on Android-based set-top boxes and that was the one! You just need to install the app and enjoy!
