If Frank Gehry designed a stainless steel matzah plate, it might well have looked like this, had not Israeli Judaica designer Laura Cowan beat him to it. While the wavy silhouette (inspired by views of the Tel Aviv waterfront) echo Mr. Gehry's curvilinear aesthetic, the use of hidden magnets and movable pieces is all Cowan. Since the pieces can be placed in any arrangement, you can use the bowl in all sorts of ways - as a matzah plate during Passover, a base for tea lights during Hanukkah, a fruit bowl or beautiful table top sculpture year-round. Available in a Square 11 x 11 inch (27.9 x 27.9 cm) and Rectangle 6 x 10 inch (15.2 x 25.4 cm). All pieces are signed by the designer and made in Israel.
