Used this item to replace the broken original part. Took only a few minutes to install, and works fine.

This was a perfect fit for the OEM replacement part WR17x11705 for my GE Profile PSHS6PGZBESS…. Followed a you tube video on how to replace. Super Easy!

It was a little tight i see others have ground theirs to fit but on a side by side comparison the augers were identical. I was told this would not fit gss25gmhhces but it does. Beats buying a 250 dollar assembly. Not today ge...

Besides being just a fraction too long to make the washers fit snuggly (adding a washer my husband had here at home took care of that), the replacement is perfect. The price was great compared to the one from the dealer & I have every expectation this part will last just as long as the previous, more expensive, one did (which was 6 yrs☺️).

I like it it hadn’t broke yet

Like others have said it’s about 1/8” too long. It’s difficult to turn the auger after reassembly because the fit is too tight. I had to spend a lot of time with a dremel tool to trim down the plastic end. And after all that, there’s still some resistance. Oh well, hopefully it does the trick.

This auger was the perfect replacement for our broken auger. Installation is tricky but following an easy to find YouTube video really helped a lot. Great purchase.

Ayuda por favor, no puedo desatornillar las cuchillas, sé que es en sentido contrario de las manecillas del reloj, pero simplemente no se puede está pegado. Leo que muchos lo han desensamblado con facilidad, ¿pudieran decirme cómo? Falta un instructivo o un enlace a un tutorial para hacer de este reemplazo algo excelente.
