ProMix Nutrition Grass Fed Whey Protein Powder,0.45 Kg

My Husband and I use this regularly in U.S, so I decided to give this as a gift for my nephew living in India. But the price is ridiculous compared to U.S. I pay $80 (approximately Rs.5000) for 5 lbs (2.26 kgs), here in India Rs.10,000 for 0.45 kgs. I didn't notice initially I was ordering 1 lb for Rs.10,000 and I paid for expedited delivery, the product which was supposed to be arriving on Sept.16th (maximum) hasn't arrived yet. I'm a huge fan of amazon for the price and the commitment to customer service in U.S but absolutely disappointed in India.

I don’t use this on its own, I mix it with my container of Ghost protein powder because Ghost protein powder is way to sweet on its own. The two mixed together……AMAZING in my humble opinion. It mixes the same as the Ghost Protein because I haven’t noticed any differences in the consistency since I added them together. Looking forward to using this plain protein powder in other recipes to get the protein but no added sugar, soy, or flavor. It’s a 10 out of 10 for me.

I wanted something that wasn’t terribly sweet and had a lot of taste. This is just what I wanted

looks like a clean product. no fillers and flavorings or any stevia. Hate that stuff. I want clean and pure protein and can add my own flavors if i choose too. That way i'm not paying for added in junk and getting less PP.

Contains high-quality protein, verified by a third-party, and without any of the added sugars and/or artificial products of some other companies. I would like to point out that unlike some of the other reviews that complain about poor taste, many of them either referred to some of these that have added flavors (and therefore other additives which absolutely can contribute to an unsatisfactory flavor profile), or others complain that it is too "bland". News flash: if you're buying "unflavored" anything, then there shouldn't be anything but bland flavor that you could potentially add to. This is also what I consider to be an unfortunate result of so many protein powders, recovery drinks, etc. that have added countless natural and artificial sweeteners and colors over the years; I think people have just forgotten what food and/or supplements are supposed to taste like. For those who have reported that they do not like the chocolate, peanut butter, or other flavors, then I would suggest just buying unflavored and simply adding whatever healthy items which you enjoy to it. Personally, I've added frozen fruit, bananas and have some time substituted coconut water for regular water, and have found the taste to be just fine. Unlike what one of the reviews from June 2017 stated, the third-party testing results are available on Promix's website. Yes, it does get slightly foamy when using a blender, but it dissipates fairly quickly, or you could just use a mixer bottle which has given me results that were just as good as using a blender from a smoothness perspective, but without the foam. I just finished my first 1 pound test run, and will be ordering the 5 pound bulk jar of both this and the casein protein powder. As for the price, it's basically one dollar per serving and with many things in life, especially high-quality food and related products, you get what you pay for.

Excellent product. Have been using it for about 3 weeks straight, 4-5 times a week. My wife does a lot of morning breakfast shakes, I have done post workout recovery shakes as well as using it as an ingredient in breakfast which I will get to. The one thing that really got me to buy this product/brand is the positives I have seen on many bodybuilding sites due to the sheer fact that this stuff is literally 2 ingredients. My wife is a Registered Dietitian and she has been highly critical of the previous Protein Supplements I have taken that contained numerous amounts of fillers, unnatural flavors-ingredients, and even higher levels of metals. The fact that PROMIX has RDs on staff signing off on their products brings about more confidence in the quality of ingredients and where they come from. Now for the taste; when its in water it tastes like a skimmer version of skim milk - HA! However, when we add it in for a morning breakfast smoothie/shake or in my post recovery shake which I do with 2% Fairlife Chocolate milk (trying to achieve the 2:1 carb-protein ratio by utilizing the sugar in the Fairlife) it creates a super creamy taste which is awesome. I also use Kodiak Cakes Pancake mix and decided to "up" the protein and added 1 scoop (1/2 serving) of Promix to the batter mix and holy moly - no difference in taste, which is awesome! Definitely can't wait to order the larger tub of Promix to sustain us for a longer period of time!
