Excellent Smart Laptop Stand!
I ordered this to improve my work space at home. Since March working from home has become everyday life. The AWAVO Laptop Stand has really enhanced my working environment as I can now have my laptop screen in the best position possible! The stand itself is extremely well built and looks really smart. It has a really nice finish to it. The hinges are quite stiff, but this is a good thing as it stays in the position you place it with the laptop on it and doesn't move. The rubber grips on the base and the surface are applied well and really hold the laptop in place and stop the stand from moving around on my desk. All in all, I'm really pleased with this stand and the plus point being able to raise my laptop screen to the perfect high when using with an additional monitor. The item was well packages too, and I hope the pictures show the lovely clean lines and great finish to the product.

Really good
Having picked this up in a flash sale, I hoped to use it for a laptop, for better ergonomics while at the desk. It's found more use for my iPad though. Not only is it built like a tank, it's really super-stable. I've tried many arms of different desgns to support the tablet but all of them feel flimsy. This is rock solid. I've even positioned a Stream Deck below it and set the height so it clamps onto the device. Now I can type away and not worry about the tablet toppling, or the Stream Deck skating around the desk.I've not managed to try it with a laptop but can imagine it would be good and sturdy. There doesn't appear to be any kind of tightness control or release. It's very stiff and involves huge pressure to bend it to the right height and angle. A quick release would have made it easier in a way, but they tend to not be as strong. Once this is set, you probably don't want to mess about with it. So while useful on a desk, you're not going to collapse it and set it up again quickly or easily. In my case I'm happy leaving it set up, but if you're looking for portability look elsewhere

Mostly pleased
Pros: Seems sturdy, easily supports widescreen laptop, once angle is set it holds in place, feels well made.Con: Only one, but still significant. When typing, the vibrations of tapping the keys causes the whole laptop to bounce when it is on the stand. Unless you type very softly and slowly, its pretty annoying and can cause a kind of motion sickness feeling when looking at the screen. Being a touch-typist, typing slowly isn't what I want to be doing, though I can at least type without looking at the screen constantly. I may have to get a separate keyboard for lengthy typing sessions.

One of the best investments I have made for protecting my neck and my Mac!
What's not to like in this? Saves my neck from aching as now I can angle my Macbook at my eye level without having to continuously bend my neck. Its well thought through design means I don't have the worry about my precious MacBook pro slipping off it or heating up given the air vents. To top it up it looks sleek, posh and premium on my work desk with it’s aluminium finish.

Waste of money.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Worked fine for a little while but now completely useless, see video. Promised refund but that has not happened. Do not waste your money. The hinges will inevitably loosen over time and the design fault is that you cannot tighten once this has happened.

Excellent product
With this extended working from home period I have been fortune enough that I have my own study to work in. My mrs however is relegated to downstairs. With her laptop as her 2nd screen has always had issues getting it to the right height, using various different books to prop it up.So I decided to try to fix that and purchased this based on the good reviews.Obviously has no trouble at all holding a fairly new and lightweight 12" Dell ultrabook. I like how the base plate is narrower than the laptop so doesn't swamp it.It's pretty lightweight and has plenty of adjustability in height and tilt. The only slightl negative is that the hinges are extremely stiff. I know it needs stiffness to hold the stand in the position you need, and for a wide range of laptop weights, but in this case in order to adjust you pretty much have to remove the laptop and use both hands!Overall it's great though and she's extremely pleased with it. She uses an external keyboard but from testing it does seem stable enough to type on the laptop without any issues.

Sturdy, solid laptop stand
This is a great laptop stand. It’s made from a solid metal, with rubber feet and grips to prevent your table and laptop from getting damaged. It does require some force to adjust the angles, but this is to ensure it keeps the laptop at the right angle without it sliding back down. It’s also pretty lightweight and portable, so you can use it in many locations.Whilst this is advertised as a laptop stand, I’ve really enjoyed using it as an iPad stand. I do a lot of writing, reading, and drawing on my iPads, so having a stand like this really helps me, it gives me a better viewing angle, which is better for my neck and my back, and is so adjustable that it keeps my wrist comfortable too.I’ve not used it for presentations or speeches, but I would also imagine it works great for these uses. It has a professional finish so it wouldn’t look out of place at a business conference, and, because of the adjustable viewing angles, it would work to serve a large number of speakers.I really couldn’t fault this laptop stand. If you’re looking for a stand that keeps your laptop or iPad in place, looks great, and is really well built, you’ve found exactly what you’re looking for.
