Is just life saving for curly African hair. my daughter is half African, her hair are so hard to de tangle after a shower, with this shampoo it’s 60% easier. Also it’s hard for me to get to her scalp this shampoo is just cleaning to the root. It cleans deeply but her hair is so moist after does not dry the hair. It’s life changing. It’s cleaning and conditioning at the sameness time.

Could have been good if it didn't smell so godawful
This would be so much better if L'Oreal would listen to everyone and realize that this stuff smells AWFUL! Seriously, it's like a dollar store air freshener that's two years expired. Maybe worse. And it's so stupid because if they had stuck to natural scents, it probably would have been fine, although coconut mint is an odd combination. But when you see menthol and coconut listed in the ingredients AFTER fragrance, you know they decided to just go with the awful manufactured scent instead of the natural ones. I added some peppermint oil to try to make it smell better, but it only helped a little. Sometimes I'll be doing something during the day and think, "What the heck is that awful perfume stench?" Then I realize it's my hair, and I want to cry. Of course, I waited too long to return it so now I'll just have to toss this because I won't subject anyone else to that smell. I've been using Wen for years and wanted to try to find something less expensive and decided to give L'Oreal a try because, hey, they've been making shampoo for decades and should know that customers really, really care about how their hair products smell. But clearly they didn't do any market research on this because so many other people here have mentioned the awful scent. Maybe someday they'll listen. But until then, I guess I'll stick with Wen.And the sad thing is that shampoo actually works pretty well. If you work it in really well and massage your scalp like your hair stylist, it will clean your hair without completely stripping it. The only thing is that I did notice my scalp getting a bit itchy, but that could have been a reaction to the horrible fragrance. Maybe if they got rid of all the scents, it would be really good.Either way, I can't get over the smell so I'm just out the money. Oh, and this came with a defective pump so there's that. Twisted and twisted it and it never popped up. Maybe it got glued shut by cheap perfume.

extremely thick and pump won't work.
I like this product but it is so thick that the pump doesn't work with it. Have to squeeze it out of the bottle.
