Penn Plax 3-in-1 Zeolite Pet Urine Odor Absorber

I love my hammies but their habitats were getting smelly less than a week after a cleaning. I was using CareFresh bedding but read that aspen/wood shavings were more odor absorbent. While researching some more, I came across this product. Using both the aspen bedding and these small white rocks, the smell has dissipated significantly. I was worried than my hammies would ingest or bite into these rocks but after sniffing them the first time, promptly ignored them.This product is expensive for the amount you get. I sprinkle it sparingly in my female's cage but use more in my male's cage since they tend to give off more of a musky odor.

If this were a huge bag for the price, I would be ok with it, But you have to use almost the whole bag for one litter box. That means it's gone after a day to two at the most. Quite disappointing.

We use this in a cage with 3 female rats, under their regular litter. I can really tell a difference when we don't use it!! It very effectively absorbs odor and keeps the room the cage is in smelling fresh. We use it with Yesterday's News litter and Carefresh bedding. I HIGHLY recommend these 3 products to keep your smelly little friends smelling fresh!

Didn’t notice a difference

It's made a big different with my indoor rabbit cage! My rabbit doesn't even seem to notice it. I just wish it came in a bigger bag.
