Our fitness center has this style for members but I wanted to see if there was something else out there that I might like better. I tried the foam style but I didn’t care for them. Now my grandchildren get to play with them in our community pool. I like that I can add water to the weight and add resistance to my workout. I use these weights 5 days a week in my daily workout routine. Best purchase ever!

I use them all the time when I am in the pool. Great little work out!

LA fitness now Esporta uses these in their water aerobics classes instead of the foam dumbbells. The ends screw on and off easily to let the hollow handles to fill with water or to empty water that get into the handle. They could get lost easily. I filled the handles with expansion foam that glued the ends onto the handle so they will not unscrew and get lost.

I added water to the weights to get more resistance. Might add sand in the future.

Works good for low impact weight training in the pool.

These are light enough for smaller hands like mine to handle but open up so you can add water inside if wanted for extra weight. They are sturdy but do their job well - add resistance to water during exercising. Very pleased with them.

Unfortunately these did not work for me! I think they are great for beginner water aerobics or an individual who needs a lower impact workout, possibly due to arthritis or a neuromuscular disorder. As an avid swimmer they were just too light for me, but believe they are beneficial for those just starting out.

Product is great quality and good size in a grown adult male hand. I am just little disappointed in the resistance they offer in the water for me personally. but they do work. I wish the fins were just little bit bigger to force you to push more. good for starting your new years resolution, but in a few months of muscle growth, I think I will outgrow these faster then I had imagined.
