We were prompted to buy an oximeter after reading that a low blood oxygen levels if you have Covid-19, is the silent killer. I bought this and received it in the evening, planning to try it the next day. I had a difficult night, struggling to breath and feeling very weak. At 5 am my daughter decided to check my oxygen level with it. ExpectingIt to be in the low 90’s we were shocked to read 37!Long story short, an ambulance was called who immediately rushed me to hospital. Thinking it was COVID-19 I was of course very worried. Luckily it wasn’t but I did have pneumonia. Spent the next 6 days on oxygen and IV’s. I’m home now and feeling much better.So yes, I would definitely recommend this product!

It does what it said on the box and seems to be accurate. My only beef is it’s made in china I would have been happier if it was made in the uk.

I was advised to get one by my doctor after coming out of hospital after covid. 2 weeks after I came home from hospital I had to call 111 after my breathing was getting worse, after a few over the phone consultations the doctor said that one would be useful to track my progress and mark any big changes. I tend to do 3 reading's over different fingers(always make sure you hands are warm) and average the results. I've found this gives really decent accuracy, this machine is pretty fast coming back with reading's and the build quality is good too.

Good quality medical grade well constructed. Tested against smart watch and gave accurate similar reading of anything more accurate esp then spO2 and your pulse in real time.I don’t know if it’s me but just having the slight pressure of it being on your finger makes you notice the pulse in your finger and it does actually show a heart in LCD form going up & down exactly in sync.Added bonus is that it comes with a long loose cord that goes around your neck and the meter clips in and out of it for easy to access use. That way you can have it with you at all times that with certain conditions it would be helpful to have there.Also good for keeping an eye on your so02 for blood oxygen levels which is good if you think you might have covid/ breathing difficulties during the pandemic. Personally speaking I just wanted to understand more about my heart rate as I learnt that to consciously slow it down through breath control is good at calming anxiety.All round great product. Can’t fault it!

While it is hard to know how accurate these things truly are the heart rate monitor agrees with my fitness tracker. We bought it as it was recommended recently by GP groups as more information about covid is known.Couldn't be easier to use, just put your finger all the way in when you switch it on. Works for adults and our 3 & 5 year old little fingers.
