Whine, but starts
I bought this for a 2008 Dodge Charger that had an intermittent no-start. After careful diagnoses, I determined that it was the starter, or at least the solenoid that was attached to the starter. I bought this as a cheap install, and the intermittent issue disappeared. There is however a whine at start-up. I'm not sure if it needs shims, or if it's a manufacture defect, but the car does reliably start whenever I turn the key to the crank position. I'll give 4 stars instead of 5 for that one reason.

Had to modify product
Product had to be modified to fit my 09 charger. Luckily my family owns a machine shop. Other than that it works fine.
