This Gorilla Grip blender appeared to be the same as the Spring Chef and other sellers as well. After checking the magnified photos on the product pages all curves, shapes, etc. appeared to be the same including the cap nut on the handle, The cap nut is not clearly shown on the Gorilla Grip page so I added a photo.***** COLORSSome other brands of this same blender have a lot more handle colors available than the Gorilla Grip one. If handle color is important to you check out the others also. I'm not picky about the handle color so I chose a better price for the same product.

I like the large size, sturdiness and that it is dishwasher safe. Nice product. As advertised.

It's your basic pastry cutter, blades are easy to clean, feels sturdy. However the grip part of the handle has a tendency to rotate freely with too much pressure, aka when you're trying to cut in some cold butter and suddenly it slips and you whack your knuckles on the side of the bowl.. there is a nut on one side though so you can try tightening that up if that happens.

I love this tool. Don't let the less than prefect rating fool ya.It is great for mixing and smashing etc. I use it mostly for squishing bananas for banana bread. It does a fantastic job.My only concern is that it wobbles a little because of the way the handle is attached. This may be a feature in other uses but for how I use it, it moves a little more than what I would like. I would like to see one where the handle is cast as part of the tool instead of a separate piece added to it. I may have to look at that if I need another one in the future.Overall a good kitchen tool and a whole heck of a lot easier to use to cut up bananas for bread than squishing them with the potato masher..

I had a similar one that I'd been struggling with for years. A long time ago something I was trying to blend (probably very cold butter and flour for biscuits), one of the blades bent in attempting to cut thru whatever it was that I was trying to blend. Finally I decided that at this point in my life, I could afford to replace it, so I did, and this one is better in every way. Love the handle grip, and the way it allows you to control the blades. Lots of good ones out there, but this one seems to suit me very well, and is a good price.

I use this for several things, ironically not pastries. I use it to mash avocados, for mashed potatoes, for hard boiled eggs for egg salad sandwiches. And I usually hand wash it. It’s been great and I liked that I could choose a colour to coordinate with my other kitchen accessories.

main reason for buying was for when i make biscuits. so much easier than trying to cut in the shortening with a fork.

My daughter and I used this last night to make peanut butter cookies. Works really well and the handle was comfortable. Love the blue too!
