Great esc for price
I bought this esc a while ago with the programming card, it has wonderful capabilities, and is great for the price. However, compared to my castle mamba max pro which is a lot more expensive for a lower amp rating, it definitely is not better, it programs more easily and is water resistant without the fan. It does overheat very easily when running on 9.6 volts or higher whether it be NIMH or LIPO with my combo in my revo conversion even though i have it geared fairly low with a Hobby King S3674-2370 Brushless Inrunner 2370kv (19.5T) motor. I also have had a problem with getting it to work in reverse with my traxxas remote, I guess because traxxas remotes have programming and it sux. Works great in my other rc's with flysky transmitters and receivers.

good enough to order another
Very good ESC for the price. Clocked my 4x4 slash at 91mph with a 4 cell. ordered a replacement for my first after it caught fire after about a year of use. It was right after I added a third cooling fan for the motor so I am pretty sure I overloaded the bec. Even with the first one going up in flames I choose this ESC again. It still out preformed my stock vxl system as well as my castle set up, and lasted longer than my castle too. A stronger bec would mean 5 stars in my book.

Excellent, reliable ESC!
I bought this to replace a much higher cost unit which couldn't handle the power I am making. This esc is extremely smooth and very high quality. I am using this esc in an HPI Bullet with a 550 motor on 3s lipo (could go 4, don't want to break truck though) and it handles the power with ease and doesn't get hot. It comes with many extras such as 4mm bullet connectors, lots of different color heat shrink, detailed instructions, double sided tape, mounting plate with screws, stickers, and a very powerful esc fan. This esc can be programmed without a programming box/card. There is a button next to the on/off switch that you use to access all the different parameters. Once you enter program mode you simply count led flashes. It is one of the simplest esc's to program and is very user friendly. The instructions are crystal clear on how to program it. I have a 60amp hobbywing too and it is programmable the same way as this one. Great products from a good name. Never had a failure with this brand unlike other more expensive brands, that's all I can say. Hope this can help someone!

Probably work great on a 1/10th scale or smaller but keeps over heating and shuts down after about 30 seconds of driving.

Hobbywing EZRUN WP-SC8 Waterproof 120A Brushless ESC
I bought this Hobbywing EZRUN WP-SC8 Waterproof 120A Brushless ESC a few months ago. We have run it in a couple different RC trucks with no issues. It is waterproof and can be programed with a card. Very nice esc for the price.

Best bang of buck
Best sensorless ESC on the market. I have 3 of these. They've been run with 2S/3S/4S powering anything from 540-can 2-pole motors to 40x68 2kW 4-pole monsters. Water, mud, crashes - it takes it all. Rinse and repeat. Can't go wrong with this ESC. BEC is solid, too.I only knock HW for the lack of warranty outside of falkenSCAMsedo. But most RC electronics don't have a worthy warranty save for Castle. So I'm ok with that. This is comparable to Castle products twice the price but less hastle. I'll take my chances.

Hobbywing EZRUN WP-SC8 Waterproof 120A
This ESC is amazing. looks and feels very high quality. I have already used it in the snow, and gotten it very wet, with no issues. Has not gotten hot while running a 2600kv motor with 3s in an 1/8 scale 4wd buggy. The switch is probably the highest quality switch I have ever had come with an ESC. The only thing I could say I didn't like, were the terribly laid out instructions. I would definitely recommend.
