KODAK37mm Close-up Lenses (+7, 10)

I bought these close-up lenses (along with the adaptor) to go with my Kodak DX6340. Although the camera does have a close-up function, I've never been able to get in a close as I would have liked to many subjects. They have really expanded the repertoire of the camera, and provided me with hours of fun... along with some fantastic photo's.For the price, the quality of the photo's is brilliant. Of course you're never going to get quite the results that you would with a more expensive camera set-up, but they are still worth serious consideration.Although the lenses did come with an information sheet, I would have prefered to have been given a few more tips to get the best from them, as it has taken a little trial and error (hence not five stars). But this is a pretty minor gripe. The focusing is not a major problem, but I've found it is sometimes worth taking a few shots of each subject, as a few have been slightly blurred.If you decide to get buy these lenses, you may find it is worth getting a lens cleaning kit. It is difficult to handle them without getting marks on them, and they come with only a simple (i.e. cheap) little plastic sleeve.Hope this helps.

Great addition to my new camera collection. Some of the pictures come out looking like they were made with hollywood camera equipment.
