The straps and clips are the best and sturdiest of several hammocks I've tried. I like the leopard print. They wash easily and don't show excessive wear. I use the hammocks for kittens and adult cats I'm fostering. They are a pretty good size but I have found that they seem to stretch in the length, which results in a MUCH longer skinny rectangle, instead of the somewhat squared shape (15" x 21") it started out as. For example am measuring one that's hanging in a crate here...the ends where the straps are measure 12", narrowing to 10" at the center, and it's become 28" long! That shape is better for kittens who can walk/climb along the whole length as well as lounge in it. But a full-grown cat has trouble relaxing in it now because it's too narrow in the center and at 28" it has a very deep "U" shape in the center. Some hammocks have one fuzzy side and one woven side -- I think a woven fabric helps retain original shape better, and a generous square-ish shape allows an adult cat to be fully supported. So if I wanted to make this hammock ideal I would make it less stretchy and maybe 18 x 21. BUT gave it this rating because the clips don't break like others, the straps are substantial and no fussy velcro, fabric holds up to wear and kittens are enjoying it a lot.

We rescued a baby raccoon last spring after his mom was hit by a car. The plan was to keep him through the winter, teach him some skills & release him..... but things haven’t gone according to plan & he has become super attached! That being said, it is NOT EASY finding items that are strong enough to withstand his behavior. It’s truly like finding something a 5-7yr old child wouldn’t be able to break/shred. Keeping all that in mind, we are SUPER HAPPY with this purchase!!! I purposely chose these images to show how strong the hammock is! He lays on it as well, and also bounces around on it. It’s been months & one of the metal pieces that clips the hammock to the cage just broke the other day, but we used some strong tape and just reinforced it that way. Before finding this hammock we had gone through 4 or possibly 5 in a few short months; and that was before he started packing on the lbs! Haha. Super soft, very sturdy & if it holds up to an adolescent raccoon I feel confident it will satisfy all dog & cat owners too!

I purchased this and a bunch of other stuff to make a Cat Playpen more kitty friendly and cozy while I'm away at work. It came today and I am happy with it. More importantly, my two fur balls like it. I took it out of the bag and inspected the little straps and clips and the general construction and quality of the materials and It seems well made and it is a good size for the Cat Pen and the two kittens. When I hung it up I put them both in it and after a couple rounds of face jabbing and ear biting, they took a nice little nap in it.I was concerned about the negative reviews regarding the failing clips but I did notice that in those reviews the seller is was willing to send out replacements and that those reviews were not so recent. I have thought of safety wiring the hammock just in case but I tend to over think things.Even if the kitties hated it and wouldn't go near it I would rate this 5 stars based on the quality of the manufacture. It is just as described and attractive.***** UPDATE 12/23/2018 *****It is 6 months after purchase and I felt I should offer my experiences with the product. I am still completely satisfied with it, and so are my two full size kitties. They absolutely love it, still. They do trade off napping in it, but a lot of the time both will still sleep in it at the same time, although it is much more crowded now since they've done quite a bit of growing. I've kept an eye on the clips and hardware, especially with them getting bigger, and there has been no issue. No seams tearing, nothing coming apart. I am still 100% satisfied with this purchase.

It was delivered with Prime free 2 day shipping. It was new in box and had not been opened or used in any way! It was exactly as described by the seller in a completely smooth transaction! I had no reason to reach out and contact this seller at all as everything was perfectly as I expected!I had been looking for a hammock for inside the crate I use in the winter for my outdoor cats. I have 2 boys that stay outdoors almost all the time (they have a cat house with an electric heated sherpa lined pad on my porch). When the temperature gets too low I bring them inside but can't let them loose in my house because both males, although being neutered since they were kittens, spray. That being said, they LOVE it outside, are great mousers, and would scratch my door to shreds to get out when we used to keep them in. The problem I'd had looking for hammocks is that they were all so small, the largest size I had found was still small for my 12lb & 17lb boys. This one is the PERFECT size! It would comfortably support a 17lb ball of curled up cat and allows for more room in their crate. I love that it's easy to install and take out, the clips are simple, but not something the cat could get undone. This will make it easy to wash! Having the hammock gives them room on the floor for another bed & will keep them both comfy & warm through the coldest winter nights. The fabric is soft, sherpa on one side & sort of a velvety material on the other. The choices of pattern were great, animal print is my favorite color! :)

had it for awhile, not used daily, had another hammock that is older that is still usable and alternated it with this one. had to throw this one away because it ripped on 2 corners. front fabric separated from back fabric. would not repurchase. my cat is about 17 lbs.
