Unleash Fearless Flight: DJI Mini 2 360° Propeller Guard Review
The DJI Mini 2 360° Propeller Guard is a reliable protector for my drone. It offers excellent protection in narrow and challenging spaces that require precise maneuvering. One of its standout features is its robust construction. This guard has endured some rather forceful encounters with obstacles during flights, and to my surprise, it has held up remarkably well. The strength of the plastic is commendable, striking a balance between sturdiness and a certain level of flexibility. The drone's easy snap-on feature is a big advantage. It quickly and easily attaches, making deployment fast and hassle-free. This is crucial in dynamic environments where flight conditions can change rapidly. The design, while effective, does come with a minor drawback. It does not collapse or fold after use, which could be a consideration for those conscious of storage space. However, this is a small trade-off for the level of protection it provides during flights.A notable benefit of using a protective cage on my drone is the peace of mind it provides. With the cage, I can push boundaries and explore confined spaces without worrying about damaging the propellers or the drone itself. While the propeller guard feels substantial, its fragility is evident, especially given its purpose. It's a trade-off between being strong enough to withstand impacts and being fragile enough to absorb and distribute the force of a collision, thereby protecting the drone. The DJI Mini 2 360° Propeller Guard is an essential accessory for those who want extra security during flights, especially in difficult conditions. It is durable, easy to install, and gives you confidence. It's a worthwhile investment for drone enthusiasts. Fly without fear with this reliable guardian.

Works but combined weight >250grams
Quite well designed, braces the legs too.It can’t protect your drone when you fly fast and reckless, that is just basic physics. It will result in exceeding 250 gram limit, with the drone defaulting to reduced altitude and speed suitable for those still learning to fly.Not really a problem since prop guard would just create drag and not offer much if any protection at high speed anyway.Unless you have money to burn, forget about sport mode and even normal mode at low altitude til you develop proficiency at avoiding obstacles. Not for use around trees, shrubs or anything else that can hook the cage, then damage your props and trap your drone somewhere up high where you can forever admire it from a distance.Without the cage, again at low speed, the props will swivel and bounce off branches and leaves pushing the drone away, often without prop damage or knocking you out of the air. This guard basically allows you to accidentally bump into and bounce off most things at very low speeds without crashing out, just remember to get away from walls if you bump so it doesn’t suck itself onto the wall, then fall and break something. The camera/gimbal basically have no protection, these are after all, just prop guards.

Perfect add-on for when learning to fly the drone
When first learning to fly the drone, it is easy to hit objects and walls and bring the drone down....this keeps from the blades hitting anything and when you did hit stuff it does not cause the drone to crash...great add one...easy to put on and take off.

Fits well and works
It fits my DJI air (1) well. Maybe because it’s old it is problematic, causes drift/hover issues. This may be my problem though. Otherwise seems good and functional. Major reduction in dynamic flight performance

Peace of mind
These are helpful for newbies but also the experienced flyers. They are a bit stubborn to get on but it eventually fit. Keep in mind this adds to the weight of the drone so it will affect the battery. You can turn off the payload feature in the app.

Definitely need these
Works as intended. It helps with the flight of the drone. If you dont have these you drone could be damaged when it falls. This allows it to bounce off objects as long as you glance the object. Its not meant to be a bumper car crash dummy system. Highly recommend using these when trees or other objects are in the flight path

A must-have for any Mini 2 owner!
The media could not be loaded. Fly your drone indoors with the piece of mind knowing that if you bump into anything, you're not going to wreck your propellers or drone. Also makes the drone a little more safe around people; fingers will be safe around the drone. Quick and easy to install. Only problem I have is actually storing them with the drone, since they're so bulky and do not fold down in size. I guess I need to buy a bigger bag.I wouldn't recommend flying with these on outdoors, because the extra weight cuts your flight time and max altitude. Easy to take off and put on.NOTE!!: These are just guards. Not magic safety bubbles!!! Do NOT fly your drone with propeller guards near tree branches, chandeliers, or anything else pointy that could slip through the guard cage and get struck by the propellers. Don't expect these to protect your drone from literally anything. People, PLEASE have common sense and don't destroy your drone by being stupid!

Very fragile when handling
Decent propeller guard, but breaks way too easily. I just received it today. It’s difficult to get the clip to lock and while locking it in place one piece already broke. Using with DJI Mini 4k
