Looked good
The item itself was well packaged, looked good and felt sturdy. It was expensive for what it was but having shopped around they all are because although they're not a hard concept to make they are a fiddle so they get parents paying silly money for something that lasts minutes. This Piñata is a pull string one which is great for younger children (as long as you don't have a child that pulls too hard and releases the trap door on the first pull!) It also doesn't sustain much damage so can be reused, either in the same way and you attach new pull string ribbons or you could use it in the traditional way of hitting it with a Piñata stick. At the time of purchase it was the best I could find on the market for its price and look. Went down well at my son's dinosaur themed party.

Pull strings did not work
It looked exactly as discerned but it did not open from pulling the strings. I thought it was a better option than children swinging a bat around. It was very anti climatic.

Piñata minus lethal stick!
Brilliant for a 5 year olds' party 🥳. All the fun of a traditional piñata (treats and confetti but sold separately) without the risk of a child accidentally hitting another person. When they are older I may consider the stick piñata but until your kids have coordination, get this option. Really simple to operate: cut open hole, fill, hold piñata, let child select string and it will pull the trap door or pop off if unsuccessful. Easy!

Doesn’t work
Looks good and stops the violent aspect however it didn’t release any sweets. Kids were far from impressed

Not functional
Strings didnt work. Holder at the top came off when i tried to pull it after the string disaster. To sum: it does not work :) the look on kids face was funny though as it failed through all the pulling methods.

Doesn’t work
None of the ribbons opened the trapdoor, we had to tear it ourselves. Not much fun for the kids and totally overpriced considering.
