DannerMen's 53661 Scorch Military Boot

The boots I was issued by the military were uncomfortable and didn’t fit well. I got tired of fighting with them to swap them out and decided to just buy my own. After owning these a couple of months I can tell you I do not regret that decision. They are holding up well, they are incredibly lightweight, and comfortable like wearing a pair of tennis shoes all day. I gave these a shot because I’ve always had great experience with Danner boots, and these did not disappoint. My only regret is not buying a pair sooner.

Danner quality and very light-weight and breathable, but brutally stiff out of the box. The insole cradles the foot very well, but the uppers are brutal. Across the top of the foot, front and sides of ankle, and up the achillies are going to require a lot of break-in time. I may be returning these. I'm not in the military anymore.

I have only had these boots for about a week and have worn them four times. They are made with some kind of nylon material on the sides that make a clicking/rubbing sound when the boot flexes as you walk. I am hoping as they get broken in this will go away. Otherwise they are a very nice and comfortable pair of boots and I feel I can recommend them to others.

Felt clunky, no cushion, no padding, no comfort, just an overly made boot without the end user in mind.

Super comfortable, sizing is accurate, it’s obvious these boots are built to last. They let your foot breath while providing the necessary protection. Worth every penny

The toe cap on the right boot separated after 3 days of wear. As other said the side material is very noisy and the ankle side support is not very good

Only thing i see different is the stitching on the tongue of the boot....the previous ones i purchased had a danner tab not danner stitched on the tab...but overall these boots are amazing and recommended 10/10

Danners produces nice boots for military but this one is lucklustre in performance.Pros:- Super lightweight and perfect for long ruck marches- Breathable and perfect for summer- Aesthetically cool looking boots.Cons:- It's a bigger fit than I expected.- Laces are cheap and breaks easily.-The leather support on the back tends to dig on heels. Get a heel protector- Glue residue still visible from manufacturing.

really comfy even though they are a bit snug in one spot. Would reccomend trying a pair to ensure fit before ordering, if you wanna save money and time, but hard to do when no stores around carry these boots.

The product fits as expected, and like most Danner's the break in period is fairly lengthy. The boots do dig slightly into the back of my heels, but that is to be expected with new boots.

Light, Durable, almost stain resistant. If dirty pressure wash them and let dry in the sun for maybe an hour and they look new again.
