Best compact Red Dot Sight ever used
Item arrived from seller in record time. Installation of battery was quick and easy with included tool. Instruction book covers several models. Great co-witness clamp to upper rail. Easily taken off, comes right back on target when taken on and off. Unit has 2 MOA dot or 65 MOA circle around dot if desired. Great Auto on/off feature. Will turn off after 120 seconds if not moved, turn on immediately when moved again. Unit can also be turned off completely. Solar cell powers unit outdoors to save battery power. NOTE: you will need the battery even if discharged when using solar power. Acts as a buffer internally. Ultra compact and sleek, will not snag or hang up on clothing. Adjustments for elevation and windage are located under the protection caps, the caps itself can be used for adjustment, just turn them around and use them as a screw driver, then put caps back on.Comes with installed flip-up dust covers AND bikini dust covers. Your choice to use.Very pleased and highly recommended. There are cheaper sights around, but you cannot beat the quality.

To bad Sig Like your guns but you need better quality ...
Never got to use it. I have 6 guns made by Sig. I also have 2 other Romeo Sites on a Sig MPX and a LWRC both in 5.56 I bought the Romeo 4 the most expensive site and they could not get the flip up scope caps to work. I got 1 and the scope cap would not stay closed it kept flipping open I returned it free thanks to Amazon Bought the same thing again and it had the same problem. So I am returning that one and buying a Holosun Same product for a third less the price. To bad Sig Like your guns but you need better quality control on your optics products before they go out the door. I won't be ordering again

So far so good
Just took this to the range, only put it through a couple hundred rounds. The sight was just fantastic. The infinite eye relief is great, the red dot is sharp at lower intensities, a tad fuzzy at greater intensities. No MOTAC issues yet. The bikini lens cover is cool, but the rubber seems very dry; I wonder how much usage I'll get out of it before it rips. I like that the flip covers let you rotate the direction of the flip at any angle so that I can flip the covers down (some weirdos like to flip up, which I think would block vision when it counts).I was disappointed in less than stellar reviews for the 4A (which is significantly less expensive), and I'm hoping all the positive reviews so far for the 4C are accurate, because I purchased this largely based on the reviews here. The official specs for all in the Romeo 4 series are the same save for weight, tint, solar, water proof, battery location, etc. rather than functionality (except no circle dot on 4A), so it's interesting to read that others have had MOTAC issues with the 4A. Maybe someone else can enlighten the rest of us on the differences in quality in this series since this is my only Romeo 4.

Sig-Sauer has another winner
I have only had the sight for a month or so, been to the range twice. It is mounted on a SIG-Sauer MPX. It is light, and compact. The reticle is clear, zeroed easily, and maintains its zero. One of the primary reasons that I went with this sight is its motion activation. It turns itself on with minimal (read tap the gun) motion. This is mounted on my wife's bedside PDW. The motion activation means she will have one less thing to worry about in an emergency. From what I can tell, you must leave the sight 'ON', and rely on the 2-minute auto-off feature to utilize the motion activation. Comes with tools to place it into service, including battery. All in all very happy with this sight.

Great optic! Love the 2 MOA Red dot with ...
Great optic! Love the 2 MOA Red dot with 65 MOA circle. But you can switch to just the 2 MOA dot if you like. The glass is very clear and the dot is very quick to pick up. Came with high and low mount it is quick detach for Picatinny rail. Has a 50,000 hour battery life at med brightness, auto on if you move the optic. Also came with excellent flip up caps! To top it off it has a small solar panel on top that will run the optic in sunlight without using the battery power so that 50,000 hours is extended even longer. I feel Sig Sauer hit a home run with this optic. It also has absolute co witness on my Sig MPX! Love It!

Faulty manufacturing or poor engineering
The front lens cap got stuck in an awkward side position as I tried to remove it and the entire front of the optic came unscrewed. It dislodged the front lens a little, and I still couldn't remove the lens cap! I was really looking forward to this optic for my new rifle. Now I am torn between going through the SIG warranty process or Amazon's return policy... Yay.

Very nice features for the price!
I love this red dot sight. It came with the low and high mount, battery, flipcaps, manual and adjustment tool. It can go between just a fine dot or a 65 moa ring with a dot (think eotech) in the center by holding one of the brightness keys. Overall, a sleek design. Ive left it on many of times, and its never died on me. This sight also features a motion setting which is great for the price range; In storage the sight will turn off and then instantly turn on if its moved, so that way you never have to worry about powering it on or off. Sig really did it right here. These are their own design and built in house. I recommend the romeo to everybody who shoots it.
