0 AMD FX6300 Processor DDR3 1600 memory i am not getting the speeds they say and this crap of up to speeds being listed well i c
Don't believe the speeds they say it does!!! today 1/12/17 with a sata 3 board Asrock 970 pro 3 r 2.0 AMD FX6300 Processor DDR3 1600 memory i am not getting the speeds they say and this crap of up to speeds being listed well i can get my car up to 200 mph but it will blow up but with the right equipment i can easily do it but here i have the write stuff but still not getting the speeds listed and i have a 5 year old crucial M4 64Gb drive that reads 470read and 250 write but think about it its a 64Gb drive which if you know is not really fair to compare it to a 240Gb drive but still its 5 years old and still in my book smokes this drive being its a 5 year old 64Gb drive compared to a new 240Gb drive so I really expected a lot more and I would never have bought this drive knowing what i know now and what really sucks is i called Amazon 3 times to try to return this and Amazon pay attention I used to love your customer service and i mean LOVE but on all three of the calls i was told they couldn't understand me said i was breaking up well problem had to be first i had a hard time understanding them because of the thick accent and kept having to have them repeat what they said but they were not cutting out they were clear as a bell so after the 3rd over 30 min call I gave up and because of this i will probably never order from Amazon again and i been a customer since 2006 but that's what happens when you outsource oh and on the last call I ask for a supervisor but there was not one available after sitting on hold for 15 min waiting so it used to mean something when an item said sold by but shipped by Amazon but not anymore but anyway i have tested this drive with Win 7 x64 all updates and Win 10 updated to today and as of today wite newest drivers execpt the Ahci driver the one from asrock is way slower than the stock Ahci driver by about 70 MBps but the crystaldiskmark speeds are 515 read and 384 weite and 384 is not even close to 470 and 515 is not 550 so take my advise and pay $10 more for a drive that lives up to its hype because this dont and i couldent even return it and get a better drive that was on sale for $1 more when i was trying to return this because of a lousy overseas connection that did'nt seem to be cutting out on me on 3 diffrent calls 2 on one day and 1 3 days later but none of my other calls were just fine and i calld a few friends in NY from Ca and so it was not my connection that was the problem i couldent return this and now im only writing this review so other people can see that all the scores people are reporting for this is eather paid or they are using some $3000 computer to get those because i tried this on mine which is more than enouh to get the max speed and my wifes laptop and i wont even bother with those scores real bad but it only has sata 2 but the speeds wrer way slower than sata 2 speeds so if your looking for a SSD to speed up your laptop DONT BUY THIS ONE pay just $10 more i would have if Amazon still had the customer service they used to but sad but im going to miss them

Good but not awesome.
Working in IT i have seen many low budget SSDs cross my desk. However, when I saw the price of these units I was skeptical generally when it comes to budget SSDs I tend to stick with Patriot or ADATA due to a proven track record. However, I have been proven wrong before. Now before I get into details we need to remeber this is not a SAMSUNG 850 series or other similar high end mid-tier to high end SSD. This SSD is considered budget and benchmarks need to be taken with a grain of salt.1. Its cheap and it has a known memory controller Cheap is good and the SMI 2246XT [...] here is a review of the controlller from the same 2246 family and results are not too shabby.2. Performance is acceptable.Generally with a SSD especially the budget class the main draw is superior performance over a traditional HDD. and here the GLOWAY T300 succeeds I was not quite hitting what the manufacturer claimed in terms of throughput and speed but it was far faster and efficient than the WD blue i was comparing it against. Even at SATAII its speed was enough to best a HDD by at least 30-40(your results may vary) percent with results being higher in the SATAIII range.3. Overall it is good but not awesome.I place this SSD in the same category as the King-Dian SSDs also on amazon. Performance easily trumps a HDD and improves every aspect of a system. I use this in a secondary/backup gaming pc and workstation and it works like it should providing faster load times and better throughput versus a HDD.

It was fast and furious
I purchased this in June of 2017, it worked super-fast.Unfortunately it died roughly 4 months later, so why did I leave 5-stars?First, for every SSD on amazon, you will find 1-star reviews claiming it died in a short time. On Samsung SSDs you will find about 4% 1-star ratings, similarly at the time of writing this there is the same 4% 1-star ratings for the Drevo SSD. Every SSD you will buy has a risk of failing in a short amount of time, whether you purchase from Drevo or Samsung. I can't rate every SSD 1-star because there is a chance they will all fail. I got unlucky, but I can't attribute this to Drevo when there is the same odds of getting a bad drive with other companies, I have to attribute this with today's SSDs in general.Secondly, I emailed Drevo support, (they aren't open on weekends so they auto reply saying they will reply during the week), but at 4AM on Monday, they gave me an RMA to send it to their center in New York. Within less than a week of me shipping it I got a refund to my credit card. I can't complain.

Good value for the cost. Attached image shows performance.
I have ordered two of these drives for very timid builds for two of my customers. The drives come in a box that includes nothing except the drive, so you may need to order some sata cables or other form of connection to the computer. These drives were recognized right away by both computers (HP laptop with intel n3050 and desktop with A8-7600, gigabyte A88 motherboard). They offer decent performance for the money as seen in the attached picture. Time will tell how their quality is when many terabytes of data are written to it. Will report back with any failures or S.M.A.R.T. notifications.

Good speed even in an old SATA II Macbook pro ...
The media could not be loaded. Good speed even in an old SATA II Macbook pro 2009. This ssd gave my old macbook a new life, going from 20 - 30mb in write and read speeds to more or less 200mb in read and write speeds. Boot up time with ElCapitan is more or less 30 seconds.Packaging was fine and the SSD comes with a sticker. If you are thinking on upgrading a SATA II laptop this is the best option specially for the price. If you are upgrading a SATA III laptop other drives such as samsung 850 pro might give you a better speed but they do cost more than double the price of a Drevo SSD.
