Gumdrop [Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10"Corresponding Shock Resistant Layer Case] Drop Tech White/Gray DT10-SAM3-WHI-GRY

Pretty nice case. If you compare it to the case which I am use to (Otterbox defender) id rate it at about a 7 if the Otterbox was rated a 10. My only complaint about this case is the volume control area. The little protruding tabs under the volume controls are just a little long. When you install this case the first time it might cause some minor issues. When I first installed this case and turned on my tablet it booted into safe mode. I was concerned at first thinking that my newly purchased tablet was defective. The more I thought about it I realized that to get into safe mode you have to hold down the volume button(s) when booting to get into this "restore" mode. I stretched the case around the volume keys and it booted normally. Once booted the volume would randomly go up or down. This eventually fixes itself as the case stretches out slightly. If all else fails you could always slightly trim the tabs. One thing to keep in mind though would be this. If you child boots this tablet and it goes into the safe mode without you knowing they could wipe the thing clean and loose everything. You may want to warn them not to select anything other than "boot normally". I Would buy this again though....

This fit perfectly except the silicon extensions for the power and volume buttons are too deep. I fit the silicon sleeve on the hard plastic frame and found the tablet self powered and wouldn't turn off. I peeled back the cover on the power button, no problem. I exacto'ed down the depth of the cover and problem solved. But when I powered up, I found I was in safe mode. That problem is due to the volume down button held when powered up. So I peeled back cover on volume buttons and cycled power, you guessed it. Exacto'ed. Cover does respond to touch inputs.

Works as expected- No real issues. Just be careful putting it on. I could see how some of the pieces covering some of the functions could rip if your not careful. Once on though your good to go

It works wonderfully and it is easy to carry by my Kindergarten students. It doesn't slip at all.
