Denso210-0774 Remanufactured Alternator

It arrived damaged in 2 places. One the damaged pieces was shattered inside in the box and the remnants were loosely laying around, however, there was damage (broken off) to the plug housing that was not accounted for. You can draw your own conclusions as to where that damage took place and where the missing pieces were.

Genuine reman'd by Denso alternator for my 2012 V6 EX-L Accord.Previous owner had some bodywork and paintwork done, and the bodyman painted over the ground point before re-installing the cable! Probably contributed to the early demise of the Denso OE alternator that came with the car.I cleaned up the primary ground contact points by first removing all grease & dirt, and then used a wire wheel brush to bare metal, touch of dielectric grease.Also added an extra 8AWG cable from the battery negative post clamp to a threaded boss on the unibody, same thing, clean off grease & dirt, prep to bare metal and coat with dielectric grease.Did same prep work for contact points where alternator mounts to the block and forward cylinder head bracket (these Denso alternators ground through the case).NOW the alternator has some clear electrical paths for returning current :-)

Only lasted a year and a half.

Would not recommend this product. Placed in 2012 Honda Crosstour along with a brand new battery in June 2020 and now it’s March 2021 and the alternator is bad and has killed my battery. Thought I did my homework and product came recommended.

I used this to replace the alternator on my 2012 Honda Crosstour. It has been working great for a little over 4 years and about 40k miles.
