Good fit. Looks different from the original but it works. The cord is not so long I like that.

Antenna, so far, is better than the XM

I have one SirusXm radio and move it to different vehicles. This short antenna along with a short 5volt red tip power cord makes it very easy to setup the radio, in any vehicle with out several feet of cords wrapped in a knot. No clutter simple move/setup now. Quite happy : )

I get very good reception from my antenna and work very well.

I bought this in June of 2022. I take it off the roof to wash the car. (The last time I did this was last month; no issues.) This past weekend it suddenly wouldn't come off. I finally had to basically chisel it off with a plastic scraper. I found that the base had melted and essentially fused to the roof. Obviously, I had to be careful to avoid paint damage. The bottom is a mess of glue and metal. It might work but I won't put it up there again, so it will have to be replaced. Previous antennas have lasted for years. I realize that the environment is harsh, but I've never seen one do this. It's also the first one I tried that wasn't SXM branded.EDIT: The company reached out to me and is sending a replacement under warranty. They state that the normal working temperature of the antenna is - 20 to 70 degrees Celsius. I was well withing that range. Perhaps it was a one-off defect. I will take a few other precautions and try this item again.EDIT2: Company sent replacement, which is already starting to fail. At least it hasn't melted. I'm giving up and going back to SXM branded antenna.

Bought by mistake as a home stereo antenna but the magnet allows us to apply to top of window on blinds frame

I have gone through two Sirius original antennas but tried this model for my third replacement. Reception has been very good with a few minutes of dropped reception. The signal loss is more of a terrain issue and not the fault of the antenna.Installation is easy with the dock plug-in port and the magnet holds the external piece securely to my car roof. I have two cars and transfer the radio and cables between them depending on travel.The biggest difference I see is the 8 ft. cable is more substantial than the original cables. The docking jack portion has a blue, reinforced collar that should provide longer life. My past two original antenna cables weakened at this point and the wires broke. Since I have been using it for about a week, I am giving it 4-stars for durability.I think this cable will last longer and should prove the durability to be 5-stars. If this occurs, which looks like it will, this cable would be a 5-Star product all the way.
