Very easy, low-cost solution to a potentially deadly safety concern.
This is a very good option for those of us in vehicles with poor lateral visibility. I opted to install mine inside the car, rather on the side-view mirror, for a couple of reasons. 1. I did not want to reduce the available surface area of my side-view mirror. 2. It reduces the amount of rain that the adhesive will have to endure. 3. It will stay cleaner. 4. I can adjust it manually without having to roll my window down. This mirror works great. See my picture for proof. See how the convex blind-spot mirror shows me a black car that is completely not visible in the side-view mirror. The only thing that remains to be seen is the longevity of the adhesive. I will be disappointed if it doesn't last at least a year. But so far, I find this to be a very good solution to a potentially deadly safety concern.

High Quality Glass Mirrors
One of my favourite vehicles, a used mini-van, came with mirrors like these, and I loved having them, so I decided it was worth getting them immediately when I got my car. I love that these do not have rims around them, so they integrate well with the mirrors I placed them on. They're better made than most mirrors of this sort, with a smooth glass surface, not metal or plastic. After adjusting my side rearview mirrors using the newer technique, explained on CarTalk and other websites, so that what I can see flows seamless from one mirror to another, I used a bit of tape rolled into a circle to make it stick on both sides, then played with the placement of these mirrors. What I found was that I wanted to be able to see the area I had been used to seeing with my mirrors adjusted the more common way, with the sides of my car visible, and a little bit more of a downward view, so I ended up placing these on the lower inside corners. I find that they do an excellent job there, and give me the confidence to use the rearview mirrors with the newer technique, while still seeing what I'm used to, with the advantage of a wider angle view. After driving this car extensively on a long road trip, my husband announced that he wants some for his car too.

Exactly as advertised :Wonderfully surprised
I've waited until I had this on for a month to see how it worked out before feviewing. I was very skeptical but have been wonderfully surprised. They are glass, it adheres easy and securely and looks like a real part of the side mirror, not like an add on. I used only the swivel base which made adjustment to the right height and angle a breeze and it is well constructed so it has stayed exactly there for this month (including s snow storm). Have not been to a car wash yet but expect it will either stay in place or only need to be adjusted again if angled. Glass stays clean.

Nervous about the switch from 3-in to 2-in but wasn't disappointed
These blindspot mirrors work excellently. I was nervous about the visibility differences going from the 3-inch mirror, which I had on my SUV, but these work just as well as I hoped.I mounted mine in the bottom corners farthest from the car, which has caused me some problems for me.Honda created some of their side mirrors in a way that causes mirror casing to obstruct obstructs the view depending on how far you tilt the actual car mirrors. The next time I may move these closer to the car for adjustable visibility.

... in convex mirror on the drivers side but is useless. I didn't use the swivel attachment
Exactly what I wanted to have to fix the blind spots in my CRV that supposedly has a built in convex mirror on the drivers side but is useless. I didn't use the swivel attachment, it seemed to stick out too far so that you can see the back of the mirror. It really isn't needed anyway, you can see everything coming up beside you without craning your neck. A vehicle can be right beside you and it still shows up in this mirror so anything in your blind spot is no doubt going to be in there.

They work.
Takes awhile to get use to them and figure out where the blind spots actually are and adjust them. I positioned mine to the upper inner part of my mirrors unlike they have them positioned in the photo because I didn't want them interferring with the main part of the image. This might make it harder to get them to pick up your blind spot though.

Great for FJ Cruiser
Does an excellent job of viewing the blind spots on my FJ Cruiser. The real glass ensures they’ll last a long time.
