I make my own bath and body products for myself, my family, and friends. I try to be as all natural as possible. I purchased this to use as an all natural emulsyfier in my lotions and creams. I certainly did not purchase this to use alone, but in conjuction with other natural emulsyfiers, for example beeswax. I will warn that this will impart a slight yellow tinge in homemade products . It is thick, and has worked excellent in my lotion. I chose sunflower lecithin because my daughter is allergic to soy. I've purchased several products from Piping Rock and haven't been disappointed yet. I have been very cautious in what I choose to purchase from them, because I researched their brand, and read some not so savory things. But you can't believe everything you read and so far, so good. This product came labeled with an expiration date of a little over a year. I'm satisfied with the quality and over all it's better than other lecithin I've used, due to the fact it is much more mobile and easier to work with, but still thick, and works great!

Using this sunflower lecithin in a spray bottle mixed with canola and coconut oil to make my own non-stick spray for frying. Lecithin is the key ingredient for non-stick properties.
